Belt material is durable for normal use, with frequent exposure to dirt and sand. Won’t rot like leather will, but may weaken if exposed to UV light on a daily basis.Cleaning just needs a bit of laundry soap and water at most.Paint on the D-rings wears off after awhile, and the steel will rust, so use caution if you have a tendency to swim with them or frequently get splashed from cleaning chemicals.The belt tips have a tendency to snag on pants loops when taking the belt off, and will open up and fall off the belt. They can be put back on the belt with little harm by simply pressing them back on thr belt with a good pair of pliers. Even if the tip is removed. belt won’t fray since it’s been melted at the end with a hot knife. If it does fray. you can use a cigarette lighter to re-melt the nylon.Would like to see a version with brass hardware to see how it holds up.

My husband loves it
My husband refuses to wear any other belts but these types with his jeans and casual clothing. There is no fussing around with belt buckles and holes which is what my husband says is the best part. It’s easy to tighten. Another good thing is that the colors are nice and match with his clothing. Definitely worth the price, I think it’s actually a great deal because these are hard to find in stores and you get two!
