Worth the money
Ever since I bought this couch, my cats have loved stretching & scratching on this corner. I tried using double sided tape and while it worked while the tape was up, it didnât ultimately deter them when the tape was removed. Rather than fight them on it, I decided to buy this scratcher instead. My couch is pretty bulky & this fits on it great. The velcro straps it comes with are long enough to reach either end and itâs very secure even after several days with the cats scratching it. The cats love scratching on it & itâs solved my problem for the time being. I only wish the wrap that goes over the top of the couch arm had the same scratchy/protective material as the cats also like scratching there as well.

Depends on your couch
This was a little difficult to put on my sectional because I forgot to measure the side I wanted to put it on. This is not the fault of the product but I do wish it had an option for Velcro on the back side instead of the Velcro straps. My sectional doesnât have legs for the Velcro straps so I had to get creative with my sectional to make it work. I also couldnât stick the top part all the way down between the cushion and arm rest because my sectional has a metal frame in the way for the recliner. So I had to just shove it all in where I could and make sure it was tight/secure. Overall, itâs good quality and Iâm still happy with the purchase. Once I got it to fit right on my couch, it looks pretty good. I can still manage to reach my recliner handle behind it too.

Good material and workmanship but design flaw in my opinion.
We have two cats and this queen convertible couch has taken a beating on the arms and sides. Although the material and color were very well done, you can see from the first three photos that there is lots of extra fabric that is meant to tuck under the cushions while the front top half of the arm is still exposed and the Velcro band toward the front is visible. What I did was to cut the extra material and tuck it up best I could to cover the front of the arm and also the Velcro strip. Also be aware that the sisal mat will not cover the entire side of the couch..only up to the cushions as that is where it tucks in to be secured. Iâll have to see how it works and whether the cats limit their scratching to where the mat covers and how well it holds up. The âhooksâ were simply Velcro tape that I am not sure will be as secure as needed but time will tell.

Protected my desk chair
My cat likes to get my attention by scratching my desk chair. I just got a new one for the first time and decided to use this to protect it. It may not be designed for desk, chairs or look too pretty but itâs better than taping a plastic bag to it! You can still see the tape from my first attempt at protecting the chair.

Wish I had gotten these ones sooner
I got this for the back corners of the couch and it was too long for one side and wouldn’t have fit under the cushions of my couch anyway, so I had to cut it and staple gun it on. It’s held up so far, even to my actual demon of a cat that weighs 18+ lbs and tears at it. The staple gun solution is a little tricky, especially if your couch is very plush, but if you put the staples between the “lines” on the sisal and use long enough staples, it works just fine. I’m sure it works even better if you use it as intended lol.

Este es un perfecto rascador y protector, si tu gato se la pasa arañando la esquina veras que es la opción ideal. Lo coloque sobre mi sofá y mi gato siguió rascando en la misma superficie aun cubierta. La parte blanca es como de cuerda tejida esta super buenisima, y ya llevo con el dos años desde su compra, estoy valorando mucho comprar uno nuevo porque ya para estos dos años ya sabrán cuanto uso le dio mi gato. jajaja ya lo recorrà un poco y pues supongo que solo lo usare un poquito mas y ya comprare otro nuevo.
