Replacement Posts DO NOT Fit Kitty City Playsets
I ordered the 3-pack of replacement sisal posts specifically for the Kitty City playset that my cats love. Yes, the playset doesn’t stay together very well – I have to put it back together most mornings – but they really love it so I don’t mind doing it. Anyway, they totally ripped the scratching posts to shreds so I ordered the 3-pack replacement posts to replace them & they nowhere near fit. Way too short, wrong type of ends, and I only got 2 posts – so disappointing 🙁 I think I’ll just replace the sisal on the existing posts – that’ll take me less time than to wade through all the different replacement parts & trips to the UPS store to return them when they don’t fit. It would be so nice if the dimensions in the descriptions actually match what you get but that’s not the case.

Great replacement
Fits perfect! It wasn’t in place 3 minutes and my cat was already using it. I was worried they wouldn’t be exactly the same as what came with the original kitty city kit. But they are great, and at almost 3 for the price of 1, it’s awesome! I will be making another order to keep extras ready to go. So nice not to have a bunch of extra poles I don’t need.

INCOMPATABLE POSTS! IMPORTANT TO VERIFY COMPATIBILITY!!!!!!!
These things didn’t have any photos of just the end connections or notes that these are ONLY compatible with giant tube foundations, and not the industry standard common screw connections. I can build a framework with a dowel and some additional wood, but many potential buyers will find this particulat post useless.

There is no way to attach these posts to existing cat trees. The holes at each end are not threaded and are large diameter. These replacement scratch post are incompatible with your cat tree!
