This is so cute and easy to make
I got this for my son for Christmas and itâs so cute and easy to make, we both had so much fun making it together, smells good and I think really good deal for the price !

This is really cool
I ordered for my son for a Christmas gift and he loved it. He had alot of fun making the soaps. The scents were super hard to open, one I never was able to actually open and they aren’t very strong. The instructions say to use a few drops but you have to use a lot more to get an actual smell. The milds are nice and it’s very easy to use. Clean up isn’t ridiculous but it’s a little tedious when the soap cools off and sticks to the bowls. You get a good I think we got 8 dinosaurs out of it which I feel is good. They’re small, the size for maybe a lego person to ride on but it’s cute. Great gift for a little kid and I enjoyed it too.

Fun, easy craft for my dino-loving 7 year old son
This was a fun, easy craft for my kids to do the day after Christmas. Everything needed is included in the box (except a microwave safe cup) and adult assistance is required for handling hot liquids. You need to move quickly after heating the soap base as it re-hardens fairly quickly, so make sure all you’ve pre-selected and opened the dye, scent, and glitter containers. It can get a little messy, so i recommend putting down a plastic disposable table cloth before starting. Colorful dino soaps were ready within 45 minutes and my kids are excited to bathe with them tonight!

Not as practical as I thought
Bought this thinking it would be practical to make. The instructions were to microwave in increments but not to let it boil over. Problem is it cools too quickly to be able to pour into the mold. I tried it a few different ways and was only able to pour half of the soap into the mold before it started to thicken and clog the hole. The smells were potent and the coloring agents worked well. But overall would not repurchase or recommend.

Too many issues for this to be an enjoyable craft project.
I purchased this kit for my five year old and I to do together. This kit left me irritated, and annoyed. There are so many problems in my opinion.First problem- The booklet says to microwave for 10 seconds, however as soon as it’s done, it starts hardening extremely fast. I ended up having to put it in for 20-25 seconds per each time…sometimes twice in total like 10 times for one soap! It would still harden while pouring it in the mold. At this point I will admit, I dropped a few small curse words, maybe an f-bomb once or twice!Second problem- The liquid soap would harden, and clog up the mold. I would poke things in, to unclog, and reheat and pour, and it would just keep clogging it up and then overflowing. Ugh….at this point I felt like I was losing some of my sanity. I wanted this to work. My daughter was so excited for this purple blue red orange glittery dinosaur soap, so we trudged on.I have to mention, I accidentally poked 2 holes in this stupid mold with a metal oven thermometer, while trying to unclog it, because the soap would not go into the tail. I poured and poured and still an empty tail. My daughter was upset. She didn’t want a dinosaur soap without a tail. I wouldn’t either…so I finally pried the mold apart with my hands and poured liquid soap in the tail, and closed it back up. We have a tail. Also, it took more than one little bar to fill up one dinosaur mold. I believe I used one and a half., which is ridiculous, considering there is so much residual you have to cut off after you unmold it. I am saving it, to remelt…maybe…At the end of this craft project, we had one cute dinosaur soap, but to get it, in my opinion was not worth it at all. A complete pain in the derriere. I don’t think we are going to revisit this kit. My daughter said she wanted flowers and butterflies, so I think I’m going to get some molds on etsy and some soap base elsewhere, and we will do that instead. Also I think you are supposed to get 3 different dinosaur molds, and we got 2 of the same and 1 different.Just a side note: I enjoy doing crafty projects, even the labor intensive crafty ones with my child. We do them all of the time.

Absolutely Fun!
Did this kit with my eight year old grandson twice now. It comes with tons of supplies. When we used up the soap that was included I ordered more soap and we were able to use the molds and other supplies again. Even after two uses we still have enough coloring and scent to use several more times. The molds and items included are very durable and will last a long time. The finished soaps are so cute and fun to use for hand washing or bathing. I would recommend this for ages 6-12.

Was good item for older children or 100% supervision the melted soap turns out to be very hot and must be hot to pour. Was fun to mix up and use it once solid.

Got this for my nephews as I wanted them to do something creative and away from using their tablets. Also great during COVID as they can make the soap and use it at the same time.Cons-Found it tricky to remove the caps from the bottles.-Fragrance bottles were tiny, didn’t feel there was enough in there.Pros-Kids really liked the different colours.-Gives kids something creative and fun to do!

Got this as a gift for my 2.5 year old nephew and he loved it! My sister told me it was easy to use and they had a lot of fun with it.
diggernerd –
Not giving it 5 stars as there wasn’t enough fragrance oil to actually be able to use the droppers or make all of the soaps sufficiently scented but this was my only issue. Fun, easy, and I can use the moulds again in future

Did this activity with my 4 and 6 year olds. Was basically unusable for them because the melted soap was too hot for them to help with much.Required re-melting multiple times because the soap would harden SO quickly. The hole is the mold would clog before we could fill it even 1/4 of the way.Ended up mashing the partially hardened soap into the opened molds. My kids were long gone, tired of the repeated trips to the microwave to re-melt the soap. Made a bar of soap to use the leftovers because thereâs no way I would do this again.
