It’s Nice, but A Lil Slippery
This cheap no-name iPhone case is not exactly as it appears in the slick photos shown. Sure, when you place your new iPhone into this flexible, nice-looking case, it does feel good. But, it sure doesn’t look like it does in the glamorous photos provided by the manufacturer. I have an all-black iPhone, and when it is in the case, the Apple logo does not show through it. Not a big deal, but I do feel a bit mislead by the pictures shown in the Amazon description.As some previous reviewers have stated, it does not have good traction–something we all want with phone cases. It feels kinda like a rubber worm you would use as fish bait–that’s not a good thing in this case–no pun intended.

Good looking case with some small annoyances
I’ve had this for less than a week. I typically buy Apple cases, but since Apple discontinued leather cases, I figured it was time to try third party cases.One thing that surprised me is that the back is translucent, which is why it shows the Apple logo in the product photo.Ok, no big deal, I just wasn’t expecting that. Comparing it to the Apple case from my last iPhone, it does feel slightly large, but that’s not a problem. It fits the phone snugly and was easy to get on. And the smoothness of the case has a nice feel to it.That’s also my first problem with it; the sides are a little too smooth. If I’m gripping it by the sides with one hand, it starts to slide down unless I really clamp down on it. In 15 years of owning iPhones I’ve never dropped a phone; but then again, I never had a case that felt slippery. I might try applying a fine grit sandpaper to roughen the edges up before trying a different case.Second issue is that the back doesn’t allow the Mag Safe charger to grip all that well. But then again, the case doesn’t claim to be Mag Safe-compatible; that’s just something to keep in mind, depending on how you like to charge your phone. I would not trust this on a car mount that solely uses Masg Safe to hold the phone in place.
