Not just for eyeliner–great for crafting
One of these days I’ll actually try this as a cosmetic brush, but to me, they’re far more useful as handy tools for manipulating different types of art media. I do sculpture in earthen and metal clay, where they’re a great tool for smoothing and shaping tiny bits and crevices. They’re even more useful for pushing around and shaping enamels on metal, powdered glass for fusing and casting, paints, epoxies, and resists–just about any place that you’re painting on or removing tiny details.I do have fine brushes that will do the same thing, but they’re expensive, hard to clean, and it’s extremely easy to accidentally leave a bit of material down at the base of the brush where it’ll contaminate something else. So the “disposability” part, while it undoubtedly adds to our landfill load, is essential.These are inexpensive enough that I don’t worry about needing four or five for a project, and they’re pretty sturdy and easy to handle. There’s a whole range of cosmetic applicators and sponges, by the way, that come in these packets, definitely worth checking out.

I am glad I got these. There is kind of an issue when they are brand new⦠the bristle, although very small, narrow, are very very brittle. They arenât soft at all when you first use them, unless you first soak them in warm water and manipulate them as you dry them using a lint free cloth. But once they have been softened they are very good.

Great tiny paint brushes
I know these are sold for makeup but I have found another use. I teach art and when the kids paint animal pictures, I have them outline their animal to make it pop. Using these tiny brushes even our first graders are able to outline their work. Great purchase.

Super random, but yes these are the best brushes for paint by numbers. The size of the brush and the density of the bristle is the perfect combo for staying in the lines. Highly recommend!

Great replacement for rx lash serum
I bought some prescription lash serum, but it came with about 100 bulky brushes that were easily the size of nail polish brushes, and so they lacked any precision at all, and soaked up/wasted the expensive serum. These are much, much better. They have something crusty on them to keep them pointy, so i dip them in a couple drops of water to soften them before drying them off and using them to apply the serum. You can really get into the lash line with these, which is difficult because I also have eyelash extensions. (I use the serum to keep them thick and strong enough to support my extensions because they’re naturally thin and sparse.) These are a great alternative to the ones you get with the Rx.

DON’T go near your eyes before…
Do NOT go anywhere near your eyes with these without wetting them and working the fibers apart first! Right out of the package, the brush is more like a hard plastic sharp point! Run them under water first and work the fibers apart then bend them. THEN, and ONLY THEN, you can dip them into your chosen eye moisturizer, liner, lash growth serum, etc. and use them as intended. Once you have loosened the fibers, their much softer and taper to a very fine point making them perfect for applying things that need fine detail. The brushes were able to hold a surprising amount of serum and even more for thicker viscosity. I do love that each one has its own individual cover to keep them protected when I toss a few in my makeup bag for travel or my purse. My only wish is that they could be made with something more eco-friendly but itâs OK. I can add them to our recycling.

When painting rocks my paint brushes can get ruined quickly. I love these because at only a few cents a piece I can throw them away easily without guilt I can use a brush to paint 8 – 10 pieces before they are discarded. The size of the handle gives me more control than a regular paint brush. I know they are intended for eyeliner but I LOVE them forART due to the fine contured hairs that make fine lines a breeze!

For less than 3 euros the value is noted. Perfect for applying latisse in a hygienic way as well as being adequate for eyeliner application. I prefer special brushes for detailed eyeliner application but it is fun to play around with these because of the extremely fine point.

I got these as they looked perfect for my detail painting needs. Wow they are perfect, easy to use, keep their shape and are easy to clean up. So despite being disposable I have found that if cared for you can get a lot of use out of them.
