This think cuts the deer hide like butter. Highly recommend for the cost. I’ll be buying more of theses and give them to my hunting buddies as gifts

Excellent product.
I own quite a few of these. Buck makes a better one but sometimes it’s hard to get. There seems to be no end to these and I am terrible about misplacing them. So I keep a bunch handy. I am even giving them away as stocking stuffers this year to my brothers and father. They work great and stay sharp. I like the Buck version slightly better but that’s mostly ergonomics related to my hand size which is a large. (But not super big just normal large). I recommend this product for sure. Just don’t be an idiot like me and cannot paint the, then lose them immediately after use every time.

Gave 4 stars because havenât actually used it yet to feel right about giving 5. So canât speak to how it holds up with use. Can say it came decently sharp out of the box and feels pretty good in the hand. Seems pretty good for the price.

Used mostly for skinning game. Also cut a carpet in sections. Light weight, very easy to use it on game (stayed sharp through 3 deer). Kinda dull after slicing carpet, but hones back sharp easily with a ceramic rod. Didn’t want a harpoon hook on the end of my knife. This is perfect.

Needs longer cutting edge.
The cutting edge needs lengthened. It jambs up easily. Used it on 5 deer last year and was not impressed. I used round files to reshape and lengthen the cutting edge for it to work properly.

It may not be laser sharp but it worked great on a mule dear. Tip would be go with the hair. Across or against the hair it jammed up. But it unzipped the belly and legs real quick and easy
