Best butter slime everâ¦. But thereâs plastic in it!
Yikes! So, after I already passed 15 of these butter slimes out to my sonâs pre-K class, we opened his up at home. Right away I could tell it was a nice set: the colors were pretty and they smell SO GOOD. Unfortunately, they separated the white from the colors by adding a plastic partition to the container! As soon as my son took the slime out, he said he felt something hard and thought the top had dried out. Then he said âOwwwww! It hurt me!â I grabbed it and started looking for the âhard part,â and sure enough there was a very thin piece of plastic they used to divide the colors. It wasnât sharp exactly, but it was hidden in the slime and had pointy corners. It took awhile for me to pry the slime off. I feel so bad that I passed them out to 3, 4, and 5 year olds!! ð«¤Luckily the slime is really soft and fun to play with. The mix-ins are all pretty. We kept all the mix-ins and gave everyone plain slime â¦. With plastic pieces ð¤¦ð»ââï¸Just watch for that part! Weâve had plenty of 2-colored slimes that didnât separate them that way beforeâ¦.

Slime was ok, Hidden Plastic in containers
Slime was purchased a gift that I opened to divide among all the kids at a Christmas party. I was impressed at the stretchability of this slime and the fact it did not stick to everything and make a mess like other slimes. However, several of the slimes had a piece of plastic in the slime. One of the kids cut his finger on it and needed a Band-Aid. We checked the other containers after that and found it in a few of the other containers as well. I am not sure if it was added on purpose, but parents should use caution with the first use.
