Perfect fit and not that noticable
This was perfect for my 3 cats. This was easy to install on the sides of our couches. This definitely sticks on and discourages the cats scratching the furniture. It’s clear, making it battery noticable. It functions exactly as I need it to. I was concerned about it leaving residue when removing it from the future, but it came off clean and has no damage.

I bought this to put on my couch to keep the cat cats from scratching. This is too sticky for my couch. We have pleather couches and so this is not ideal for it because of how sticky it is. It does leave residue when you take it off. I bought a cloth couch cover and then I put the tape over the couch cover and it worked much better. It definitely kept the cats from scratching. They don’t like when they touch it. I would not advise putting directly on your couch unless you tested a small area first. It does work perfect on a cover

Anti-Scratch Tape Works Great
I tried this product out of desperation. One of my cats (a cat that was a rescue) loves to scratch walls, specifically corners. I have tried scratching posts, water sprays, nail clipping, and verbal reinforcement. While everything that I tried worked to reduce the behavior, nothing completely stopped it until I tried this product. I do still see her occasionally reach up to scratch, then I get the stink eye as she realizes that her paws are sticking to the tape! Hopefully this behavior will stop completely soon so that I can remove the tape. That is the down side to this product, the covered area is sticky so I have to be careful to not touch it myself. Also this must be changed occasionally. My other cat is one of her kittens that I decided to keep and he was learning that behavior from her when I started using this product. He stopped pretty quickly and now both enjoy tearing up the cardboard scratchers that I have put out for them. This is completely invisible on the wall and causes no damage. I like that this comes on a roll so I have not had to repurchase. This product does what it is supposed to. It has been a game changer for me.

Stickiest tape ever?
Okay, so I firmly believe I have a love/hate for this tape. Please excuse my long review, but this must be said .ð𤣠I put a test patch on my couch, proceeded to pull it off gently and it ripped out a lot of fibers on my couch. I then decided that was a no go to stick on my couch! I then put two wide strips around the boarder of my couch . My cats would walked on it, and soon learned that if they even walked near the couch their feet would become sticky. So, that seems to be working. I have had the tape there for 2 weeks. It is losing itâs stick , and lots and of dust and hair gets stuck to it ;so I will need to take it up. Fyi( humans feet get stuck on it too, so remember that itâs there!)ð Next thing is that I used the tape to put under my accent rug to keep it from sliding around on the tile. Working great; but noticed that the rug is bunching up in the middle. So I decided I would pull the rug up to rearrange it, and well, I pulled to hard ,and the tape from the bottom ripped out a patch of the rug fabric.( pretty thin rug from the start, BUT STILL! ) Ask me how I feel about this?!ð Conclusion is that this tape is obviously very sticky, caution must be displayed when deciding where you are going to put it, does seem to be working to keep my four cats from scratching, and; for the love of all things that you want to keep decently niceâ¦.that you have spent good money onâ¦.. donât be like me and pull the tape off of anything you own very, very gently! âºï¸ððð»Thanks for reading.

Strong tack, does the job!!
This product is effective as a cat deterrent and in general as a double sided tape. The tape is quite wide which worked well for my purposes. Having just purchased a new sofa and loveseat, I needed something to keep the cats from tearing them to shreds. I put the tape on the areas they were likely to claw. It only takes one or two attempts and then the cats ‘get it’ and cease scratching at that spot. The stickiness or tack of the tape is excellent, maybe almost too good for a simple cat deterrent. I frequently got it stuck to my leg while sitting. It is not enough to remove cat fur in most instances, but it is pretty strong. This works out if you plan on leaving the tape on for an extended amount of time. I took the tape off after two weeks. The cats seem to have figured it out by then. It was still sticky at the time of removal! I have a ton left over, so it will be used for other projects. This is a much more cost effective way of deterring scratching than the sofa tape panels that come in odd assortments and sell for twice the cost of this product.

DO NOT USE ON LEATHER
Made a huge investment on a leather couch. Got kittens. Used something like this in the past on previous fabric couch, no problem and worked fabulous.Put it on new super high quality leather (not PU) couch, thank GOD I tested after putting on, because it totally ripped off the finish!!!! I panicked and had to remove the rest with conditioner to prevent damage, which wasnât totally successful and I have MANY regrets about this!!!. I could have ruined the entire thing.I bought this because of the reviews on leather. Iâm here to tell you if thatâs what youâre looking for, do NOT buy this. Or if you must, test it on a spot thatâs low and out of the way first, leave it there for a couple days and then remove it. Be real about your test timing, humidity of the home, etc. Youâll want to make sure it doesnât ruin your investment!!Donât do what I did and test on the top right at eye level so you see it and kick yourself every time for it.If you have a fabric couch Iâm sure this will be just fine.

I purchased this because my cat has decided to use my bannister post as a scratch post & my landlord is gonna flip. ðIt was easy to cut, fairly easy to apply, but the paper layer is a bit of a faff to peel off.It worked immediately. ð She went to scratch on the bannister post & realised that it was now very sticky & unpleasant on her paws. I have a very clingy talkative cat. I thought it’d be smart to put on a distraction video for my cat so I could finish getting ready to go out without having her get in the way.
