Great for carpet transitions!
My cat has never lived somewhere where we had carpet, and was absolutly tearing the carpet apart in the door frames where the carpets meet my hardwood floors. This is completly saving my carpet! It was easy to cut and fit in the doorway, easy to install, and the roll came with enough for a couple of replacements… maybe about 4 with how wide my doorways are.10 outta 10 would buy again.

Temporary Solution
This is serving it’s purpose at the moment, my only gripe is having to smooth it back down every other day or so bc it does not stay stuck to the sofa. Small reinforcement to prevent t cat scratches. My sofa is a woven fabric so maybe that’s the issue, but the adhesive could be a little stronger imfor me.

Do not buy this if planning to use on upholstered furniture
This product completely ruined my brand new $1800 sofa. We just adopted a rescue cat who was never declawed. ( that’s a good thing) we had just purchased a new sofa about 6 months ago. So I put this product on a top cushion and both armrests. It started coming off in one corner, so I pulled it up to restick it. As you can see in my photos, it pulled out threads all over and some of the silver backing stayed stuck. It took us hours to get the silver backing off. Instead of protecting my sofa it now looks like it was attacked by a herd of angry cats!

Cats like it
My cats like to scratch on these. With a little urging they stick to the end of the couch I put a cut piece on rather than scratching the rest of the couch. I’ll add mor pieces from the roll if any problems. The grey color I got matches my grey furniture well, you really have to look twice to notice it. It seems to stick ok. The first time they scratched it, it came loose a little, but I think I didn’t have it pressed on well enough & maybe needs a little while for the stickiness to adhere well. If any more problems with that I’ll try using upholstery pins. It didn’t come with any instructions re attaching, only the roll in the package.

It really sticks!
I started small with this material, I wanted to be sure it worked. It absolutely does! It cuts well, no shedding, and it peels easily. Or, it peels easily once you get a corner of the clear plastic protective cover up. There is a tab to help, but I needed a small piece and didn’t use it. As long as you know it’s a thin, clear, and not the foil looking part, it’s easy. And it really sticks. It is much easier to apply than wrapping sisal rope and hot glue. I have an ottoman that has turned into a scratching post, it’s next on the list. I highly recommend this, it works.
