OMBRAT Diaper Bag Backpack
This is such a cute and creative idea to have the changing pad built into the bag. However the bag has some limitations. Because there is a changing pad area built into the backside, it doesn’t leave a lot of space for other essentials that are bulky and take up a lot of room. From the perspective of a diaper bag, you need extra diapers, change of clothes, perhaps formula, bottles, wipes at a minimum. The bag is only 8″ at the widest part so when you start stacking the essentials into the front compartment, the back compartment is essentially rendered useless because that’s where the extendable portion (mostly mesh and a pad) will reside. Also just note that the two zippers are both different. The front compartment has a silver zipper which is smooth to operate but the design of the bag makes functioning it not as smooth so you have to ensure the lip is help completely closed before zipping. The back zipper is black and is not as smooth but does open all the way around to allow the mesh portion to pull out. If you’re creative, you could probably reconfigure this to use as a regular laptop backpack.

This is a must have for even a day out with a baby.
I’m in awe of this backpack! It is very good quality! It has lots of pockets and even a phone charging port on the side. It did not come with a charging bank. The back pack fully unzips and a baby basinet style unfolds. It is so easy to place the poles in the sides. It’s has a velcro shade with drop down bug nets. It also comes with a cute arc with toys on it. The only thing I’d like to change is the pad it comes with to lay the baby on. It could be a little thicker and stiffer I love this backpack so mich because if you are out and about it makes it so easy to change a baby or lay them down for a nap and all of this in what can be used as a diaper bag. Definitely worth the cost!

Failure at trying to be both a backpack and changing table
This backpack looks nice but I’m not sure how practical it is. The main compartment of the bag has a narrow opening at the top (top loading only). The changing table seems easy at first, unzip the back from the pack, pull out the changing area and insert the pad. Most people are probably going to stop there if they are just doing a quick diaper change. But you are supposed to put poles into both sides to give it structure. If I was staying somewhere and planned on using the changing table multiple times, I would do all that. Then for putting it away, due to the zipper pulls awkward locations, it takes several tries to align the teeth to interlock the two halves of the zipper to zip back up the baby changing area. Also you need to ensure you push the mesh sides out of the way of the zipper. If you are out and about holding your baby in one arm, I am guessing you are not going to get that zipped back up. Plus the zipper feels like it will break easily from trying to put it together. It needs to be zipped up in order to wear it as a backpack. Even hanging from a stroller it needs to be zipped up or it will be dangling on the ground. This is the biggest negative as I would not trust unzipping the changing table when I am out since I would worry I could not zip back up.Positives – The side pocket for wet wipes with an opening/flap for dispensing is a good idea. The color is nice.

Unusable
A diaper bag like this can be a life saver, but how the changing station sets up is make or break. In this case, break. You zip off the entire back panel, which is fine, but the process of zipping it back on broke the zipper. The changing area is incredibly flimsy. The other zippers also stick terribly.

Backpack doesn’t look like a baby product
I think this baby backpack would make a great baby shower gift or just a gift for a new parent. It’s more than a little fussy to zip back together after being opened up though, particularly if you’re trying put it back together one handed while holding a baby. Plastic posts are provided to hold the sides up when the pack is open but the sides seem to flop inward just as much with the posts inserted as without them. Nice neutral color, well made, light weight.

Very handy!
It is very interesting backpack. The size is comfortable. Material looks durable and tough. Look overall is not too bad, nice color, a lot of compartments, hooks, pockets, charging port and so on. It has a changing mat, which is pretty thin and flimsy and the backpack converts to a little bassinet. My backpack did not have any defects or issues. It converted to bassinet just fine. The mat was slightly larger than the floor of the bassinet. I have to warn you- conversion takes time and some effort, the same thing is for the taking the whole thing down. It will take time and you have to put baby somewhere while you are doing it. Still if you need it in a pinch it can be amazing thing to have. The backpack had no chemical odor.

Quality Bag
This diaper bag is well made with lots of pockets to hold the hundreds of items needed when you take baby out. The zipper is not too shabby and works well. There is a front pocket large enough and equipped with insulated slots to hold baby bottles securely. Thereâs enough room in the front pocket for at least 3 bottles and other small items. There are side pockets that can hold bottles too. The great part about this diaper backpack is the way it can transform into a temporary bed/ changing/ play area for baby. It even comes complete with a bar and hanging toys to entertain. Fits comfortably on my back, for reference Iâm medium built with broad shoulders. Itâs truly a great gift for a baby shower or a friend or family that has a newborn baby. The color is also very nice and can be used for either a boy or girl.
