Loving the amber tinted lenses!
Since turning 40 Iâve been dealing with a lot more headaches and eye straining issues so I figured it was time to give blue light blocking lenses a try. Between my computer, phone, iPad, tablet and TV it seems like I almost always have a screen in front of me and it was bound to catch up to me sooner or later.Iâve tried a few different brands, types and styles throughout the last couple years but this is the first pair Iâve gotten that have amber tinted lenses in them. All I can say is wow, theyâve been a game changer for me! I wish I had tried out tinted lenses right from the start. While the other blue light blockers did help reduce the amount of headaches I was having these have drastically reduced the eye straining issues which has been worse than the headaches. It only took me a couple days to really notice a difference. I wasnât squinting, I wasnât rubbing my eyes or bridge of my nose, I wasnât having to reduce the brightness of my screens throughout the day and I was able to work for longer stretches of time before needing to take a break.The glasses themselves are really well made and I was happy to see metal hinges and not plastic like some other blue light blockers have. They included a soft and hard case with them which is perfect to store them in and not have to worry about them getting broken or scratched. They fit my head well and while they arenât the most fashionable glasses they are functional so I can deal with them not really being my style. I find myself wearing these all day long, even when Iâm driving, and I havenât had any irritation on my nose or behind my ears. I usually forget they are on now that Iâm used to my view being slightly tinted. I will say that it took me a day or two to really get used to everything being tinted, but now Iâm more than used to it and hate being on my computer without them. Because I am so used to them I will be purchasing another pair to have as a back up, Iâd hate to have to go without them waiting for a replacement if something were to happen to them.Overall, these have worked great for me and I think Iâll always be a fan of amber tinted blue light blockers. I definitely recommend giving them a try, especially if you are in my 40+ age range.

Attractive, Lightweight, and Good Optical Quality
I’ve recently ordered several pairs of inexpensive blue-light-blocking glasses, with decidedly mixed results and lessons learned. First, the clear ones with blue coating just do an okay job of blocking blue light, or anything else for that matter. The yellow and amber ones are noticeably better, and out of the bunch, these are the clear winner (figuratively and literally).The glasses are lightweight but not flimsy, plus the clear gray frame color and stylish rectangular shape comfortably fit and flatter my medium-sized face, which has high cheek bones. The yellow lenses offer a nice balance of blue light protection without overly tinting computer screens. In fact, after multiple side-by-side comparisons, I actually prefer the look of the screen with them on, which makes the screen less harsh and more crisp. Obviously, photography and graphics professionals shouldn’t use them, but for the rest of us, these are handy to have at your computer desk.These glasses also are useful in the car for night vision, because they don’t noticeably reduce brightness, yet improve clarity and glare. Plus, they work well as sunglasses in lowlight and cloudy conditions, since they allegedly have UV protection. I don’t notice any distortion or other optical artifacts, and the lightweight design feels comfortable for extended periods despite the lack of silicone nose pads. The kit includes an interesting origami-like triangular coated cardboard case, plus a blue light torch and photosensitive test card, which I’ve read is pretty much a gimmick, but still fun to try out. I tested it with all the other glasses, and these showed more prominent reduction than most of them.

Nice glasses for computer work and gaming
I work on multiple computer monitors all day and then play games on the TV most evenings. Unfortunately I frequently feel eye strai, and sometimes even get headaches, but I have found that blue light blocking glasses help out tremendously.These glasses have good optical clarity and do a good job blocking blue light and preventing glare. I like the slight yellow tint they have because I am often looking at dark text on light backgrounds and this tint helps out with that, but also isn’t so dark that it turns everything yellow.I am an adult male with an average size head/face (at least, I think so) and these fit me well. They are a bit wide compared to glasses I normally wear but they still look decent and are comfortable to wear for long periods of time.As a nice bonus these glasses also come with a decent case (triangular box with magnetic closure) and a thick microfiber cloth and bag.
