Quick patch Fix
Ordered this Leather Repair Patch Tape Kit to fix the small stich of leather sofa basethis was a quick fix , i did patch two identical tapes with 6 inch to keep the sofa good shape and it did work ,The tape is good and solid black color with nice quality

Installed 2/27/24 on a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan driver seat, left side of seat cushion. The piece you are looking at is about 6.5″ wide, 3.5″ tall (left side) and 2.5″ tall (right side.) See before/after pictures. Will try to post update on durability around May/June 2024.*Update 9/6/24… still holding and looking strong. No peeling, cracking, fading, or flaking.*Appearance: The pebbled black repair patch is a good match to the OEM. The tape is slightly on the matte side, the OEM is almost semi-gloss. The patch seems to be just the right thickness, can’t be too thin or it won’t be durable. Any thicker and it would be a bulky eye sore. It doesn’t look perfect, but we were looking mainly for function with as much form as possible.Ease of use: Cleaned the seat first with Windex. Removed any lint with a clean, dry cloth. Installed on a warm day, it was about 60 F today. The tape unrolls easily, cuts easily with a sharp scissor. Backing peels off easily. I chose to round off each corner, thought it looked better, and would also be less likely to get a snag on a rounded edge vs. sharp 90 degree corners.If you look closely, the outer edges of the patch are white. I didn’t really notice until the patch was down and it was adhered very well. I tried to touch it up with a fine point Sharpie, but not really happy with how that turned out. Depending how much that bothers me, I may pull up the patch and reinstall a new patch that’s 1/16″ wider all around to cover my sloppiness. In hindsight, I might have been better off trying to color the edges/sides of the tape prior to applying it to the seat. I’ll leave that decision up to you. Either way, just try a small sample test patch on the side first and see if you like how it looks colored/stained by a Sharpie first.Overall, happy with the purchase so far. If possible, I’d prefer to buy a car with cloth seats to not even have to worry about something like this again.

This is an okay product, might work better for you.
In my case it was more of a material remover, the chair I had is fake leather and it had plenty of hidden spots where the leather material raised up from the chair, this stuff only highlighted that issue. I’ll just get a wrap and tie it to the chair somehow. Not sure if I’ll buy this tape again.

Blends in very well with black seat leather. Itâs been a month and holding up very well in both hot and cold weather. The adhesion is very strong and hasnât come off. The roll is big enough for a few fixes.

Fixed my everyday chair
My well worn but very comfortable office chair developed splits on the under side of the cushion, where it would annoyingly scrape the back of my legs especially when wearing shorts. i love this chair so im hesitant to replace it until absolutely necessary so decided to give this tape a try. I’m very happy with the results. I was able to cover the splits with no issue at all. The tape is adequately sticky and the texture and color blends in well with my black chair. From a couple feet away you can’t even tell it’s there.My only quibble is that the tape has an off-putting smell to it at first. I would guess it’s the adhesive, but I’m sure it will dissipate over time.

What I Like – This is a really thick, good quality leather. I needed to patch a few cuts in the back seat of my car. When you get it, itâs rolled up fairly tight, so if you have time, try and unroll it and place it leather down on a table and put something on top to flatten it for a few days. This will make it much easier to work with. Adhesion was good and it seems like itâll last a long time.What I Donât Like – I wanted to do the whole middle section of my back seat, however this isnât pliable enough to go over the front curve without leaving a bunch of ripples and wrinkles right at its end. This definitely wouldnât look good, nor would it be perfectly flat. It would have looked much better if this product was just a bit more thin so it could have been easier to go over curved seats and such. The patched piece does look OK and will at least stop the holes from getting bigger.
