Everyoneâs situation is different, but my cats love this thing. It gets scratched on and even climbed every day. (I have it sitting right next to a chair.) And itâs used a lot more than the expensive scratchers Iâve bought before. The height is good for my two year old boy too, he gets a good stretch leaning against this. Itâs pretty light weight but they havenât knocked it over yet. It was easy to put together. They did pretty much obliterate the little mouse toy hanging off the side (itâs just thin cardboard inside, not terribly sturdy) so I cut that off and tied a new mouse toy on in its place and theyâre perfectly happy with that. Iâm happy with this, especially for what it cost.
