Elegant-Looking Makeup Case
I have a daughter who is just getting into makeup. She also does theater, so she ends up using makeup quite a bit. She’ll be excited to get this set for Christmas.What I liked: · The initial looks nice (NOT tacky). As an adult women, this initial didn’t look childish, and I’d be happy to use it myself · The lights are a great touch. Be advised, they’re bright, and there are no dimming settings. · The size is really perfect: small enough to travel easily, yet roomy enough that you could empty it out and use it to carry your makeup when on the moveHere is the biggest thing I DON’T like: the charger isn’t USB-C. It’s one of the weird, outdated cable sizes. I believe it’s a micro-USB. At this point, I’m making an effort to not buy any new devices that aren’t USB-C, so as to simplify my charging situation. On a related note, the listing doesn’t state what type of charging cable it uses.On the plus side, at least there’s an indicator light telling you 1) that it’s charging and 2) when the charging is complete. (I can’t stand it when you can’t even tell if something is charging!). The indicator light is red while charging, and it turns off when charging has completed.The brush quality seems nice – they’re very soft. A test of the powder brush didn’t dislodge any of the bristles.

Very practical to take it with you everywhere!
My wife liked this set of brushes and mirror a lot, considering she can put it into her purse and take it with her everywhere â sometimes she has to make up on the way when running late. This set has been helpful for her since she wonât need to take the larger brushes she has at home, considering the enclosed brushes do the same job with the same quality. The set is made of good materials and itâs just as advertised on the product profile. Further, the mirror is very good as well, has the right size, and provides my wife with the right amount of light needed â what she liked the most is that you can rotate the mirror freely. Overall, my wife contemplates this is a nice option for all those people who donât have enough time to make up at home, for those who travel frequently, or just as a gift.

It’s pretty, but got wrong initial
Update:So I initially bought this mirror for my daughter and ask for letter A , received a C instead, I decided I was too busy to go do a return and all that so I was gonna keep it with the C and I ordered a second one (same with A) But then again I received a “C”I got this mirror for my daughter, specially because it has light and storage. I loved the extra bonus that you can add the initial, so I got this to give it to her for Christmas, I received it today and was checking to make sure I got what I wanted, but I asked for the A initial and I received a C instead.I’m too busy to go do a return, so I’m just gonna have to stick to that one :(For some reason it won’t let me upload picture.

This is a compact little case that holds a lot of brushes. It also has room for a few other small things, such as tweezers or hair ties.The initial on the front is so lovely: Featuring flowers in the middle of the “L”, it is elegant. The case opens up with a light push on the front. The mirror swivels left and right smoothly.I love how there are a lot of lights on each side. I had another kit of this type with only a couple dots of light and this is much, much, more efficient at lighting the mirror so you can apply makeup, insert contact lenses, etc.It comes with a charging cord (it’s not a USB-C but that is the only real drawback I came up with and it’s a very minor one since the cord is included and it fits into a standard wall block.)It is great for travel and just so elegant, I’m so glad I ordered this. Might buy this in other letters for a few of my friends.

The brushes are soft and good quality. The mirror is nice too and works well especially if you are sharing a room or there isnât a great mirror to do your makeup. It doesnât take up too much room either especially if you use a bigger purse lol

A bit weighty for everyday portability, but
At first glance, I thought the lights were a bit overkill for the size of the mirror, but it’s actually really bright and can be appreciated in dim lighting for makeup touch ups on the go. Touch the soft button on the mirror and the lights turn on or off, but you have to remember to turn it off before closing or the light will remain open. It is rechargeable so no batteries to replace, and a charging cable is included. The mirror is large enough for me to see my entire face and it rotates and tilts at different angles. The makeup brushes sit neatly inside the case. Most brushes are adequate makeup brushes for traveling. They are all soft bristles, except for the eyeliner brush which is typically stiff. The foundation brush is not dense enough for foundation application. This makeup case with brushes is a little bit weighty for everyday portability, but would be excellent for travel and I’m definitely packing this in my suitcase.

This set of 8 makeup brushes makes a great gift idea. The case doubles as a lighted makeup mirror and the brushes are quality brushes. The light can be recharged via usb cable and the case closes securely. I would not use this as a case for the brushes after use but that is a personal preference. The selection of brushes covers most makeup application needs and will be a good kit to give as a gift. The monogrammed initial is nicely placed and gives a personal touch.

This set came in minimal shipping packaging that I was able to recycle. I didn’t notice any harsh smells when I opened the package. First, I didn’t even realize it was monogrammed and I got the wrong letter, but that was my mistake. I had a bit of an issue understanding how to open it initially, but again was my fault. It is a good functioning case. The brushed are comfortable and are a good length. I feel lie the 8 brushes will cover you for most applications. Decent price for something like this.

I love this little set – it’s a great stocking stuffer or gift for someone that travels a lot.The brushes are short but the actual brush heads are almost full size, which is nice. They are also VERY soft and fit nicely into the little compact. You really have every kind of brush you would need and makes packing your makeup so much easier – no longer have to worry about brushes! I also like that the compact lights up, but that’s just a fun extra in my opinion, not necessarily something that is critical. To me the best part about this set is it’s portability and good quality brushes. For a woman that travels alot, this is a perfect gift, especially with the monogram on the front. You literally can’t disappoint with this (unless the person doesn’t like makeup – ha).
