Easy Assembly
I loved that it was easy to follow the pictures and instructions. The only thing that was confusing was that the instructions had the screws labeled with a letter, but they didnât come in separate labeled bags. The crocheted twine side took a little more time to figure out but overall still wasnât hard to figure out.My cat loved it immediately!

The cats love this toy. Charlie couldnât even wait until it was completely done to sit in the hammock! It keeps Stanley busy and it is exactly what they needed!! It did take some time to put together, but if you look at it one step at a time, itâs not too bad. The only thing that I would improve is directions on how to install the netting. I do recommend this product.

TLDR; my cats like to climb it and lay in the hammock but they don’t use the netting side. It’s not a big play toy, definitely not intended for cats on the larger side. It’s not the easiest thing to assemble and the A frame is just…weird. It’s a bit too costly for the quality and size at full price, but if you can get it at a discount it’s a better value.Assembly: Everything arrived without issue, no broken parts or stripped screws. Pay close attention to the directions and map out the pieces ahead of time; don’t be like me and have to deconstruct half of it when you realize you used the wrong screws in certain places. The wooden frame pieces are labeled, the dowels and screws are not. All of the screws are fairly close in size and it’s easy to use the wrong one if you’re not paying attention. These don’t come in little labeled baggies like so many other DIY structures. The way the A-frame is built is really strange as each leg is 2 pieces that “fit” together in a weird groove cutout. “Fit” is used loosely as it does nothing to help support the structure and will wobble all over the place while you connect all the pieces. Don’t get me started on the twine netting. That was a traumatizing experience that I’d much rather forget – and my cats won’t even touch that side.Sturdiness: Once it’s all connected there’s some sturdiness to it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it breaks within a years time. Cat zoomies can be intense.Functionality: Overall, both cats like it. They mostly use the hammock and scratching posts to climb around and will balance on the top dowel. Neither were all that interested in the included ball, so I used one of their favorite feather toys instead. I may find something to replace the netting as neither use it and I’m afraid of a cat getting stuck in there somehow – my cats aren’t the brightest crayons in the box.Appeal: It is cute once it’s assembled. It doesn’t stand out like a cat tree, nor take up as much space as one, but keeps them entertained all the same.Price: Meh. Full price? Not worth it. Discounted? Worthwhile, especially if you have smaller cats.
