Best silencer Iâve found
Iâve tried numerous silencers (the boarder ones from petco, the covers from Thundercover, etc) and this is the one Iâve had the best luck with. It keeps the tags nice and snug together to minimize the noise. I have three tags in the cover, I wouldnât recommend anymore (you need enough room for the nut to screw on tightly) It lasted a bit over a year before the rubber stretched out too much and had to be replaced. Overall, I have these on 2 dogs and will continue to replace as needed because they work great.

I LOVE these freeze tags. Iâm a light sleeper and the jingling of the rabies and city tags drives me crazy when the dogs are walking around at night. I finally replaced one that Iâd had for almost 5 years because where it was hooked to the collar was getting cracks in it and I didnât want chance loosing it. (See pictures) I feel itâs what youâd expect from 5 years of wear and tear. Itâs never fallen off or been lost despite my dogs being rough on their collars and having to replace a few. Iâm also very diligent about switching out the tags every 1-2 years when they get their rabies shots. Definitely recommended. I will continue buying them in the future.

This is a great silencer. I’ve tried a few out there and am happy to have found this one.Pros:First, it’s easy to use. Pop off the rubber stopper and unscrew to add or remove tags.Second, it is a nice look. By that, I mean it doesn’t draw your eye to it and you don’t have some weird thing hanging from your dog’s neck. You can still see those are his/her tags.Third, it works! No more jingle. Though I like the jingle during the day, I am so happy to not hear it at night.Forth, it’s durable. With my active dog’s shenanigans and even his new puppy sister gnawing on the thing, it has held up nicely. I’ve had other silencers break on me before. Granted, over the years this one might, but then again so do metal rings (which have also broken on me before).Fifth, it holds all my dogs tags (up to 4 and looks like I could still fit another).Cons:First, the rubber covers up some of your tag’s info. I’m not sure a stranger could easily look at it and figure out that the rubber stopper needs to be popped off to expose the screw. Honestly though, I couldn’t think of a different design and if a stranger is needing the tag info, I’d be happy for them to cut it up if need be to find out how to reach me.Second (and not really sure this is a con), those tags with teeny holes may not fit. I had an old tag from Etsy that I had to replace a while ago due to its too small hole. I brought it out when this silencer arrived, but it still didn’t fit. Why I’m not sure this is a bad thing is due to the durability of the screw. If it were any smaller, it probably wouldn’t hold up as well and, in the end, I’d rather take peace of mind.

Stops the jingle but…
Hands down this is the best product for keeping your dogs tags from jingling. We live in the city and walking the streets a lot dogs react just to the sound of tags jingling. So, rather than having upset dogs in the window and having to keep my dogs from reacting we purchased these. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is we are already on our second set in 3-4 yrs. Once the tab loosens, either from changing the tags or just normal wear, the slightest pressure causes it to pop off. As you can see from the picture, none of the parts are worn so I assume it’s a flaw of the design.

For those of you not with the lingo, it stand for “Double Income No Kids With A Dog.” In short, my dog loves the luxury life. However, My husband loathes the sound of clicking dog tags and would perpetually take our dogs collar off. This tag silencer has solved that issue.We keep 3 tags on our dogs collar. ID tag with contact info, rabies tag, and city license tag. All 3 fit with no issue and no jingle. There is definitely room for more tags. It is easy to attach to the collar and once it’s on, you dont have to mess with it again (unless you add or take tags off obviously).This was the second one we purchase for our dog. The first one lasted roughly 2.5 years on a growing puppy. Our dog is pretty active so it survived lake swimming, hiking, rough play with other dogs, etc. It also survived hot summers and cold winters, but our dog prefers winters spent under a blanket next to the heater vent.We have recommend to family and friends and they all love it. I also work in a veterinary office and recommend it to clients who complain about the clinking of tags.

Quality Product that keeps tags silent
Absolutely in love with the freeze dog tag silencers. These keep the dog’s tags from rattling all night, long or all day long, and continuously hold their tags in a safe place. I have multiple sets on both collars and will continue to use them. This also makes switching the dogs collars much easier. It takes 20 seconds to move it from one collar to another. them in two colors, one color for one dog and one color for the other Dog so I know whose tags go on whoâs collar and it makes life much easier when switching the collars.

For my dogs tags. One of my dogs is very sensitive to the sounds.I have had this type of tag holder in the past & it works very well. Eventually the screw does loosen over time & you must check it & tighten it.My last one lasted about 8 yrs, now it needs replacement, this is an exceptional product in my opinion!

For a long time I just took my dogâs collar off since her tags drove me crazy at night. Perfect for attaching several dog tags and keeping them quiet. Weâve used it for around 5 years and had no issues. Never needed tightening etc. Our dog is very sneaky now that we canât hear the jingle of tags! But I think it was noisy for her to listen to tags all the time, I know it would drive me nuts. We tried a pouch for tags but it was hard for people to get our contact info if she gets lost. This is the best quiet solution that still allows easy access to the info on dog tags.
