Good quality materials, and amazingly effective ratchet mechanism. My first one lasted about 2 years of constant use and the belt itself gradually wore out enough to warrant replacing it. The belt can be cut to length and easily reconnected to the buckle. The release mechanism is slightly tricky at first, but I got used to it after a few days. (The first time I put it on, I couldn’t get it to release — trapped in a belt! — until I found the simple technique.) The best thing about these ratchet buckles is that they are much more finely adjustable than a regular belt with holes every inch or so. The ratchet has latch points about every half inch, so you can let it in or out even just to accommodate thicker clothing. And it can be adjusted very discreetly without anyone noticing that you’re fiddling with your belt — just slip it in or out a bit, even while driving. Another benefit is that there are no strained holes in the belt itself, because there’s no prong from the buckle doing all the work. An excellent product; highly recommended.

Great belt but the way you attach the belt to the clip is new to me that works ok but seems half-assed. But this is nitpicking.This belt is great. It has the length advertised and you can easily cut to length with some scissors. Just be sure you cut it with a few inches to spare for the holidays lol. The belt is made of nice materials. The clip has a rubber finish to it with a small diamond texture to it making it look nice and very grippy as an added benefit. The belt itself is a leather/rubber finish material that’s very flexible and strong at the same time.I use this belt to hold my pants up along with a 5+ pound EDC pouch for work and it hasn’t failed me yet.The clip mechanism takes a couple of tries to figure out how the hell do you take the belt off but once you get it, it makes sense why it’s made that way. It just worksTM:DR- Grab it in your size. it may be exactly what you wanted.

Got this for hubby, but he hasnât used it yet only tried it on. First impressions are that it is good quality, and is as described. Got it because hubby was sick and tired of having a tight or loose belt as there is an inch between the holes on a standard belt, but with this he can get a perfect fit every time! We are both quite impressed.

Excellent belt, took awhile to find one. Like everyone else, you go through various types of belts. I was not content with the present belt I was using so the search was on. I came across this ratchet leather belt on Amazon and decided to give it a try. After checking your waist size you need to cut to the required length and light the end (lighter to clean and seal cut). Excellent ratchet system for sliding on and releasing. No adjusting holes makes it stand apart from the conventional belt. Black leather looks great with my work uniform and really comfortable. A well recommended product.
