All the hype- and worth every penny. Buy it!!!
Must buy. So much lighter than the first 2 gens of pens, and similar to the pros. If you want a simple quick cheaper by a lot that works for your M2, M4, and regular iPads and Airs, this is it. Works wonderfully and no glitches. Did I mention SUPER lightweight? Yes. No app is needed. I interchangeably use it between iPad 9th gen and IPad 10th gen with No issues. It doesn’t lag nor glitch. I use this pen to take notes for school and work so I use it ALOT. It also comes with several pen tips for replacement, which is easy to change out. Battery lasts all day, maybe even up to 3 days depending on what you’re doing. I do own an Apple Pen 1st gen, but I don’t use it because it’s heavy! And if you take a lot of notes like I do, the sport pen tires your hand- it is noticeably heavier. Besides, the sport pen requires you to install it to your iPad, and say if you want to use another non Apple pen it interferes with it via connection. I now use 2 non brand pens as back up’s and neither give me issues. But if the Apple pen was my back up, it interferes stiff connection and lags or glitches this pen. So keep that in mind. I love this pen, I use it a lot as my go to, and I’m glad I bought it. But it, you won’t regret it. If you’re not a professional artist, you don’t need the Apple pen, you’ll want this trust me!!! I recommend this pen for all!

Overall I give the MetaPen Pencil Air 8 a 5 out of 5 because it’s simple to use and it’s everything I wanted in a pen. I’m just glad I never bought into the Apple hype to overpay for their pen. With that said I haven’t had the pen long, and I hope to use it for years to come. Want to know more read on.The metapen is a great addition for my iPad generation 8. I recently got a new case and keyboard for my iPad and figured I could get a pen. The nice thing about this pen is it doesn’t break the bank compared to Apple products.The pen uses a USB-C connection to charge and it comes with a USB cable for charging which the manual says takes about 45 minutes. The operation of the pen including setup was straightforward requiring no effort on my part because my iPad never had another pen jointed to it.Functionality I was able to complete all of the pen tutorials on the iPad with no issue. The pen simply works and seems to be very accurate, everything I wants in a pen.The Metapen is made in China and that is clearly marked on the box. The instructions in English are understandable and straight forward.The package includes the pen, some extra tips, instructions, USB-C charging cable, and a rubber plug to protect the pen’s charging port.

I ordered 2 of these pens on a PreBlackFriday sale. One was for my new iPad and the other I grabbed for my friends new iPad mini7. Before I even received the pens the seller reached out to be sure they were going to be right for me. Upon hearing that one was for the mini ipad7, they explained that it wouldn’t work and they immediately offered to make it right.The A8 works great on my iPad gen9 and I am learning how to use it as I go. Very pleased with both the product and the company.
