Themed “Fairy Tales Come True,” the sixth Cycle of “America’s Subsequent Prime Mannequin” finds 13 contestants vying for the coveted title, a modeling contract with Ford Fashions, an Elle journal cowl and trend unfold, and a $100,000 take care of CoverGirl cosmetics. Through the nail-biting competitors, the fashions discover themselves in sudden and precarious conditions together with posing for a photograph shoot bald, strolling the runway with dwell, big hissing cockroaches, competing for an opportunity to win a visitor function on “Veronica Mars,” and whereas in Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand, driving and posing on elephants. Cycle 6 consists of visitor appearances by Nick Cannon (“Males In Black II”) and tremendous mannequin Janice Dickinson. Initially broadcast in Spring 2006, Cycle 6 marks the final season UPN aired the hit actuality collection on UPN, earlier than the community merged with The WB to create the CW.

my personal favorite season
I’ve always considered this my favorite season of ANTM. The season features some memorable models including Jade (so arrogant, but oh so funny), Danielle (who provides hilarious commentary), Gina (who suffers from low self-confidence and struggles in the Top Model house), and Furondah (who essentially believes she is a princess). There are so many other great models this season, and the judges seem to be at their best–tough, but warm and funny. If you’ve never seen ANTM before, I’d actually recommend you start with this season instead of Season 1. There’s less drama & fighting in the house than other seasons, and the overseas destination is really different and cool. Enjoy!

This is such a fabulous show to watch. Now, as you view this show, you have an idea of what goes on behind the scenes of trying to become a model. You are able to see the transformations as well as observe the personalities of 13 girls living together all striving for the same dream of a lifetime. Tyra Banks is truly beautiful to watch and a very positive role “model”. YOU Can Watch America’s Next Top Model..and like it! Thank you.

I love watching this show if for nothing else all that drama! Too bad it is the last season this year. At least I get to watch them all on Kindle TV. It is like a slice out of high school, work place, party, etc. we run into all those personality types eventually and react just as shockingly.

great cycle, bad amazon move
A good cycle, with memorable cast. I dont think anyone will forget Jade! Ninnea was à surprise twist not expected. The photo shoots at the beginning went too fast but later got more interesting. Most dissapointing on Amazon is that two episodes are switched!! So you find out who is kicked off before you should!!

This cycle is my favorite of all the America’s Next Top Model cycles. I love the earlier cycles before the show went to the new format. I understand the need for change and staying relevant to a younger audience but I miss the old cycles of ANTM. I love, love, loved the old school versions.

These DVDs don’t work. You will see the CBS logo, the Main Menu, and nothing more. None of the episodes will play. Not even if you select “play all”. Price / availability too good to be true.

Missing Episodes
When watching the recap, I noticed that I missed the episode where their destination was announced and they took the mermaid pictures. I’m really disappointed in that because I love seeing how the photos turn out. I checked back to see if maybe I had missed it but it turns out that the episode is just not on the season. That’s very disappointing and I hope that the people that actually purchase the season rather than watching it because they have Prime are aware of this otherwise they are being ripped off.

It was a fun tv watching experience to view this season of ANTM with my teen daughter. These are a bit pricey though, and I would have bought more seasons if they had cost less….
