Great Product
The Klippy-Pet Tag Quick Clip was just as expected. I purchased it for my small dog. The clip is small, which is why I ordered it. I did not want my dog’s tags hanging too far down. It works perfectly and is easy to take off and put on the dogs collar. It came with 2 rings for attaching the tags. The smallest one broke when I was sticking tags on it, so I ended up using the slightly larger one. The ring breaking is the only reason I did not give this item 5 stars. I would purchase this item again if I were too need another one.Update: The company sent me 3 new rings for the clip. I changed my rating from 4 stars to 5.Update 2: I have ordered another one of the clips in blue. I love these clips and will continue to use them as long as I can still find them to order.

Why did I get a red one?
I got a red clip instead of a silver clip (what I ordered). The red clip is UGLY against my dog’s teal collar. I like the product and it seems to be sturdy, but I won’t use it because the colors clash. I’m very disappointed that I did not receive exactly what I thought I was ordering.Update: The company is very kindly providing me with the proper color clip. I will update my review when I receive the new clip.Updated Review October 5, 2013: I received the proper color clip today (silver) and it looks awesome on my dog’s collar. The second clip arrived in a few days after the company contacted me. I want to thank the company for promptly correcting the order and sending me a new clip without charge. Great customer service! The clip is strong and I imagine that it will last a few years on my dog’s collar. Good product!

Why didn’t I get this years ago…
After my 2 yr. old energetic lab kept losing her tags we decided there must be a better way. Also we often change collars and this makes it easy, whereas the traditional rings get stretched out and that’s why she is losing her tags. This clip is smaller than I envisioned when I ordered it and I wasn’t sure it would be easy to use. But it’s fine–I like the fact that her tags don’t hang too low. I had read that the clip broke easily, but have not had any problems after 2 months.

Love this Clip – easy to use
I bought this clip because I can not do the key chain loop things. This makes it so much easier to transfer tags from one collar to the next. My dog gets a new collar every few months (they get super dirty) and I can unclip and clip this on her new one with all her tags. Totally recommend, plus it’s pink and compliments her blue coat. Well worth the purchase!!!

great concept
I love that I can easily keep my dog’s tags on him no matter which collar/harness I use. The only thing I wish was improved would be that it is not made so that the tag sits flat and facing front. It hangs sideways. Although I haven’t found one that does so overall this is a good one. small enough and good quality.

Jump ring failed – tag lost
I got the red one and loved it. Thought it was great. The other day I look at my dog and the red part is still attached, but the jump ring and his tag were gone. That is just NOT acceptable. I have no idea how long he has been without that tag. He still had his other tags for rabies and microchip, but they had different jump rings. The whole point of buying this was because it looked nice with the red and secure. Well it isn’t secure. Don’t buy this – it isn’t worth the risk. So now I also have to order a new tag for him which is more money that just didn’t need to be spent. I’ve never had this happen with any of our animals before. The tag engraving has rubbed off but a jump ring has never failed. Really just disappointed.

Works great!
I bought this to replace the loop that came with an ID/Tracker tag for my dog. This has held up great and we have had zero issues with it !

Little dog owners beware!
Got this little clip so that I could easily switch over my dog’s nametag to any collar. It does the trick and is very cute! Good quality for the price, tooâ has held up for my little playful dog. But, little dog owners beware!!! My dog is a very small chihuahua mix (7.5lbs) and because of how short she is, the clip + nametag combo hangs down very low (sometimes touching the ground if she puts her head down to sniff something). This has caused her “dew claw” (and sometimes her regular claws) to get stuck in the clip, making her unable to take a step or unhook her paw 🙁 This has happened multiple times. Once she got her paw stuck while in the house and I wasnt looking, she tried to get her paw unstuck, and ended up putting her collar in her mouth and almost choking on it until I came to her rescue (had to cut her collar off due to the tongue buckle clasp! ONLY using collars with plastic quick release buckles from now on) ðððTLDR Cute and does the job, beware of tiny dogs getting claws stuck in the clip!
