RFID COLLAR TAGS
These work with the sureflap pet door. My cat has a chip, but it doesnât open the door, but these do. I had t place it on a different spot on his collar from his ID tag to not block the signal, and trained him by shaking treats to lure him through the door a few times. Make sure you keep the instructions to remember how to âlearnâ the tags, and check the batteries about once a month, as thereâs no alert that your cat can no longer use the door.

Exactly what I needed.
I have two cats, one that is on a prescription diet for a health condition. Because the cat NOT on the Rx diet is a four-legged food vacuum, I purchased a Surefeed automatic food bowl for the cat on the Rx diet. These tags operate that food bowl. Unfortunately, my “special needs” cat’s new hobby is losing his collar, along with his personalized tag and the Surefeed tag. He’s lost two sets in less than two weeks. I’m thrilled I can get these Surefeed tags on Amazon because they are the only tags that work with my feeding bowl and I haven’t been able to find them anywhere else. I’ve even gone on the manufacturer’s website, unfortunately they are in the UK, and I can’t get them shipped here. Being able to buy them on Amazon is a lifesaver.

SureFlap Tags are necessary
These tags make every other SureFlap product work. You definitely need them. So your cat loses their collar once a year – order replacements to have on hand. This is not the time to save money.In my experience, the SureFlap microchip scanners don’t work at all. The SureFlap Dual Scan Microchip Reading cat door is fantastic, but won’t work on metal doors without an adapter and still won’t work without these little tags. The cats microchip needs to be 2 inches away from the scanner to work. Do you know any cat with a microchip on their face or in their neck? I don’t. Vets usually inject the microchip in their shoulder – which is more than 2 inches away from the scanner.Get the tags. Save yourself the hassle we have gone through to make the door work.

WE bought the door and it came with one of these, the first tag was lost along with the safty collar that must have come off the cat, then we got a new cat, so we ordered these for our little 4 legged people 🙂 and I switched to small, and Extra small dog collars, so they are not qick release collars 🙂 The door was awesome to and continues to work flawlessly! Great tags! I recomend this product!

same as ones that come with feeder.
bought as backup incase my cat loses the one we already have. these are the exact same ones that came in feeder so i assume they will work fine if we ever need them..these RFID tags work well with feeder and are easy to program quickly but, my reason for 4 stars is the ring the tag comes with, it isn’t very friendly to long hair cats at all. the ends of ring kept catching my cat’s fur to the point where he kept trying to get tag off of him and was pulling his fur out! we ended up taking ring off and cutting a thin string out of a stretchable fabric and used that to tie tag to his collar and no more issues. we did buy microchips to use but, decided not to use them for these tags open up feeder a lot faster than both microchips i tested.. would be nice if these feeder tags, for at least cats, were a smaller size.

Works very well
I have two cats on prescription food (one weight loss and one glucose management) my other cats are on regular food but are happiest when they can free feed. I have purchased two of these for my free feed cats and so far it seems to be working very well. There are clear plastic blocks on either side of the tray and if you set the dish against a wall, you can avoid the problem of someone sneaking in the back.

Used this instead of micro chipping our cats works great
Didnât want to get our cats micro chipped so we got these instead they were great with the surecat flap cat door. Thatâs our cats in and out or one cat in and other cat in an out or both cats only in you get the point. It keeps other critters out of the house when you use this combined with the surecat flap door

I purchased these additional tags so I could use them to open the Sureflap door during the training period. I ware one as a bracelet and it is so convenient and really made training the cats to use the door so easy.I also use them for the cat’s because they are not chipped and they work every time.I am very happy with this product.

I bought these for our Sure Pet catflap. Works and the tag is much smaller than other cat flap brands.Only thing to note is that this only works on select cat flaps (we did buy this also for a Pet Safe catflap but wasn’t compatible as these tags are so much smaller than the big round tags. We have since replaced this with a new Sure catflap)

Wij hebben er eentje aangeschaft voor onze kat. Ondanks dat hij gechipt is en de chip nog perfect werkt (dierenarts heeft hem gecheckt), reageert het kattenluik sinds kort niet op zijn chip. Dus deze penning gekocht en aan het halsbandje gedaan, zit aan de bovenkant van het bandje bevestigd. Nu kan onze kat weer probleemloos naar binnen en buiten door het kattenluik!

Wir haben eine Surepet-Katzenklappe. Unser ð ist zwar gechipt, aber er hat einen Tracker am Sicherheitshalsband (wir wohnen an einer HauptstraÃe und da leider die Katzen von vier Nachbarn überfahren wurden möchten wir zwischendurch wissen, wo er ist) und eben den RFID-Anhänger. Wir haben die Katzenklappe so eingestellt, dass er zwar immer rein kann – durch seinen Chip – aber er kommt nicht mehr raus, wenn er das Halsband samt RFID Anhänger verloren hat. Klappte bisher super! Das Koppeln mit der Katzenklappe ist sehr einfach und hat bisher keine Probleme bereitet. Haben bereits einen neuen Anhänger verwenden müssen, da ein Halsband leider nicht mehr gefunden werden konnte. Daher absolute Kaufempfehlung von uns.
