Good for fine hair
These actually work better than microfiber towels. I have fine and cranky red hair, and these do not hurt my hair. I think having my hair not smothered by a towel. Flipping my hair up into a kinda bun also helps give my hair some lift.

Good if you don’t use them often
I appreciate having these on hand for the rare occasion that I need to put my hair up while it’s still wet. They absorb a lot of water so that it doesn’t run down your neck. However, I don’t use them often (maybe once every other month) and I’ve never had a reason to use two at a time, so one has been under the sink for a year while the other has been used five times or so and lives on the counter. You can see in the picture how the pattern has degraded somewhat and the color has yellowed. The elastic has also loosened up quite a bit. If I had been using this every few days or once a week I would expect this amount of degradation, but after such limited use I’m a bit surprised, not that I noticed until I put them next to each other. This might indicate that they won’t hold up under a lot of use. Or my cat has been using it behind my back.

I didnât understand the hype. At all. But I heard so many good things about these towel scrunchies, so I bought a pair during prime day. Game changer! Theyâre big, fluffy, and super absorbent. As water drips down your damp scalp, it gets sucked up by these scrunchies instead of continuing to roll down your hair and soak your back. Like a towel for your ponytail. Itâs so simple – why is this not in every store?Good thing these come in a two pack because I let my boyfriend borrow one, and Iâm certain Iâm not getting it back. He has thick, curly hair, and he wears the scrunchie in a ponytail at his neck. He says he hasnât had a wet back since.My hair is fine, wavy, and long. Iâll wear the scrunchie in a bun, and the large width helps cover most of it, which means no dripping.

Fine⦠but not great for thick hair
These work really well as hair ties, but iâm not sure theyâre super great at absorbing water. I have pretty thick and long hair and I slept in one overnight after showering, my hair only felt a little drier than it wouldâve if iâd slept in a normal hair tie. Admittedly, my hair takes a really long time to dry, but I had kinda hoped this would be a miracle solution.

Worth it!
After using a towel I let my hair air dry. Not a heat fan. So when I have to go out after a shower I use these for when I put my hair up in a bun or buns. I bought some other brands and they’re good but thinner and absorb fast to where you need to wring them out. And hair is still wet. These are thicker and absorb better to where you don’t have to wring them out like the thinner ones. But warning if you color your hair with box dye it will stain the srunchies. Both of mine look like a red and white tie dye. Still cute. Sometimes I just tie the ends of hair with them since that’s where it’s heavy on the dripping.

I am satisfied with the Kitsch towel scrunchies and would repurchase more. I wash them in the washer on delicate and hang to dry. I find they make a difference in how fast my hair air dries before I blow-dry it and itâs a nice way to keep my hair out of my face while I do my makeup or skincare routine.
