Great adjustability but poor-quality foam base supports
I love how adjustable this stand is. You can position it at pretty much any angle and lots of different heights because of the multiple pivots. If you’re using anything larger than a phone, you do need to be careful when adjusting it because it’s easy for a tablet to fall off. It’s stable once you’ve set it up; this is only an issue when you’re adjusting it when the stand is already holding a tablet. My bigger concern is that I’ve only owned this for about a month and the foam squares on the bottom are already starting to peel off and split. The rest of the stand seems durable, but the foam supports are falling apart easily.

This product is very solid for the price. I have a 18.5″ portable monitor on it. It’s not exactly flimsy and considering what it is, it’s of course not going to be as stable as a permanent stand. I don’t forsee it breaking or my monitor falling off, it holds the monitor as level as the surface it sits on. I was required to lean it backward to hold the monitor less than I anticipated, so that was a plus to discover. I might even attach velcro to the stand and back of monitor it to get it to sit nearly straight upright. This stand folds down to almost nothing, so you can travel with it without taking up much space. The stand can also adjust to sit much higher than I expected. Can’t complain about this purchase.

The stand is solid and holds the iPad well, but if you have it in a case, it may not fit that well, and it’s hard to get the iPad on the stand. So, this stand will work well if you don’t use a case on your iPad.
