I had asked a question about the bottom piece, and everyone that answered had positive feedback for this scratching post. Thank you! . . The circle base and top both come with the wood pieces in half, but are held together with the fabric cover. Just in case, I used a couple drops of gel gorilla glue in between the halves. It was really easy to put together; took less than 10 minutes. It’s very solidly built. And actually bigger than I expected. Lilly took to it right away. The black and red are very classy and Gothic looking, goes perfectly with the rest of her furniture. She’s napping in it and looks quite comfy… She weighs a good 15 lbs.

This was easy to put together and is nice quality. My cat doesn’t use the scratch posts but loves the top bed for naps. She’s 8/9 lbs and curls up perfectly in it! I have found her playing with the toys too.
