Sturdy and easy to use
I chose this style of tip prevention because it is one of 2 styles approved and recommended by Consumer Reports. The design is logical and easy to use. I chose this particular product as it appeared that the steel cable was a bit longer than the others on Amazon, though I canât recall if I ever found any actual measurement. My concern was that I would not be able to find a wall stud near enough to the part of my shelf that I needed or wanted to loop around, and I did not want to have to move my bakerâs rack to an off-center position on the wall. The length of these cables is fine though of necessity they are short. If too long, the shelf or cabinet could gain quite a bit of momentum in a fall before the cable was tight enough to stop the fall. Might be too much momentum and cause the cable to fail. Fortunately, I also figured out that my concerns were really a non-issue. On my bakerâs rack there are both vertical and horizontal pieces to which I could attach the cable. The horizontal pieces cross over multiple studs so the only issue was making sure the cable was long enough to go around the bracket and the bar on the bakers rack. These cables were plenty long enough. In fact, I doubled up with some to get twice the strength. Also, at least with my application I am sure that a decent drywall anchor to support the bracket and cable anchor would have been sufficient to prevent any tips. The threaded female piece on these cables is a little finicky in that the make and female parts have to be directly in line with one another. There is little or no play to compensate for a slight misalignment, which just means youâll be twisting the female piece but going nowhere. That is not a complaint as I think the precise workmanship speaks well of the quality of the anchor.

Feels safe for our toddler
We use these to attach our toddlers heavy dresser to the wall and they give us great peace of mind. Our dresser is extremely heavy and these are very sturdy, we attached them into the studs. My only complaint is that with the way we had to attach them into the wood frame of the dresser, you can see them by just looking at the front of the dresser.

Fabulous deal for true child safety
Thrilled when I opened this package to find everything so organized and pieces I didnât even expect. It was unclear to me whether you would get the metal cables ties or whether we would have to use zip ties to secure items to the nice metal wall anchors.Each set of the 10 sets of anchors comes in a little cellophane package complete with screws & plastic drywall anchors. There were 10 of the metal cables ties with the set – together separately from the anchors/screws. I installed one less than a minute, and I canât tell you how happy I am knowing that if my baby tries to climb up my tall shoe shelf or other shelves (which he is starting to do) that this will (hopefully) keep it from falling on top of him.BUY THIS – Donât hesitate! A great Amazon purchase.

As a mom of a one and a half year-old, I feel so much more at peace knowing my cabinets and furniture cannot fall on top of my child. They were super easy to install and feel way sturdier than zip ties that come with a lot of furniture to âbaby proof.â These are great because you can easily unscrew them to remove it and reuse them if you want to move your furniture. Itâs literally impossible for my cabinets to fall over now! I highly recommend screwing them directly into the studs for extra safety rather than using the anchors.

Easy to install, we used just the one bracket onto the wall then used the cable tie to wrap around a metal bookshelf (ikea, very light weight). Which made it secure in my kids play area.

Unlike cheap looking plastic zip ties, this looks like stainless wire and I bought white to colour match with the wall. They are completely invisible, took 2 minutes to install (without an impact, baby was sleeping), and are strong as h**l.
