Saved my cat’s life (kinda)
My cat, a few months after being spayed, decided that she would meow at the top of her lungs at my doorway EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. Nothing I did would help. Shutting the door drove her crazy, she’d just paw and scratch and meow and make even more noise. She has an automatic feeder, so she wasn’t hungry. I gave her calming treats. We played for hours before bedtime. Even tried cat melatonin! It did not make her stop waking us up in the middle of the night, and the only thing she seemed to want was someone to be awake with her. Getting her another cat to play with was not an option, and what if she just taught the new cat to do that too?! We were very close to having to rehome her because we hadn’t gotten a full night’s sleep in MONTHS. It broke my heart because she’s so sweet otherwise… I made a last ditch effort and purchased this thinking maybe it’s just separation anxiety because we are asleep… and I’ve slept EVERY NIGHT for a month since the day I put it on her!!! She still doesn’t really like putting it on, but I’ll take the minute struggle over sleepless nights ANY day! We put it on, give a treat and she snuggles almost all night. But no crazy meowing anymore.

My kitten loves this! The only issue I have is with sizing. He is 9 lbs, but slender. The medium was extremely huge on him, the small is tight but workable for now.

Small neck
Our cat is used to wearing a dog sweater, and as another reviewer commented, dressing the cat is directly related to her legs becoming nonfunctional. She CAN move and does get used to moving around. I ordered the medium, and the back length is a bit long for her. I feel like it restricts the use of her back legs. The neck is rather small. That is my biggest complaint about this product. Otherwise, once it is on she does purr and seems to be comforted. I don’t leave it on her unattended because of how it hits her back legs. She does wear her dog sweater unattended because it does not restrict her movement at all. The Velcro is very strong, and I can see the ripping noise bothering some cats. It does not bother our cat.

Our kitten is 4 months old and 4 pounds. We originally bought the medium based on the size chart. We quickly realized it was huge, but it did the job. As we got closer to her spay, we figured we should get the size small too. The small fits perfect and should until she’s 5-6 pounds, we estimate.We put it on her at night, otherwise she’s so calm in it that she sleeps all day and all night.When it’s close to bedtime and we haven’t put it on yet, she carries it to us to put on her.What started out as dressing her up quickly made us see she’s so much calmer and more happy wearing clothes. Her vet said that some cats just like the compression and it won’t hurt her. He said it’s like swaddling a baby.She’s happy, so we are happy!

So I have a neutered male cat that is 14 months old.He is always chasing my older fixed female cat, destroying things, climbing all over the place, getting into things he knows he shouldn’t.. People with this kind of cat know exactly what i’m talking about…I bought this jacket to try as a last effort before crating, and it works!!!!it was a slight hassle to get it on him, but literally the moment I put it on him, he is like a different cat..He is calm now, not chasing the other cat, not climbing everything in the house (still uses his cat tower just like normally) and is just so much better in every way.At first he did the lowrider and side flops you see on youtube, but he is used to it already after just 24hrs.Does not seem to be bothering him in the least. No struggles, eyes and tail relaxed, gentle purring..Don’t know what else to say..

My cat literally fell over and wouldn’t move, so I guess it works? He appeared completely defeated so it was a one and done experiment after surgery and bought a soft donut to put around his neck. It was pretty easy to put on.
