I have tried nearly every Simple Mills Snack Bar flavor at my local stores. The Dark Chocolate Almond and Spiced Carrot Cake are absolute faves! For 160 to 170 calories these are portable (easy to throw into a handbag or backpack) chewy and filling. They make a great afternoon or evening snack. I am always trying to watch my calories and nutrition. These are a great addition. My friends have tried them and enjoy them immensely. ONE CAVEAT: They have a strong taste and texture of nuts and coconut. Should you dislike either one, these are not for you. For me, that’s a definite PLUS!

The primary benefit to these is that they do not contain a lot of added sugar or other sweeteners, and NO artificial sweeteners or maltodextrin. So, they are relatively healthy as a snack. But, they do not taste like a chocolate brownie from a bakery. No such luck.
