Very pretty and perfect for fine hair
I have fine hair which is not very thick and with age, it’s beginning to thin. Most of these types of barrettes/clips are too heavy in my hair. I put them in and then an hour later they hare slipping out. These are perfect. These are better as side barrettes than the use shown in the demo pic. Unless you have thin hair, these clips will not hold a bun, roll, twist, braid or upsweep in place — they are too small and delicate. Even taking the inner clip off the barrettes, they are not wide enough and deep enough to hold all the hair in place. The model must have very thin, fine hair for this to work as indicated in the picture, or else a lot of other hidden ‘bobby pins’ are holding the hair securely.Otherwise, they are really beautiful and glittery — each of the clips is slightly different: one with pearls; the other with rhinestones. Very stunning and eye catching, without looking gaudy or cheap. I just wish they were a bit longer, bigger and deeper to hold all my ponytail upsweep (my hair is just below shoulder length, and not overly thick anymore) without having to use a few hidden supporting under pins to keep everything in place. But I will certainly use them — they’re too pretty not to use all the time!
