Tough collar. It has lasted this long and looks to last forever. The buckle is sturdy and it handles weather no problem. Matches my jacks carhartt jacket so he’s out there pimpin in style. It lives up to the ruggedness that carhartt name is built on.

Best collar ever
So I have a big *ss German Shepard and even though she is trained she still loves to chase deer. Her dumb *ss will pull to the end of her lease with the strongest yank, youâre surprised she didnât break her own neck. (Herding dogs) ya know!She breaks through all other collars and Iâve try every brand you can think of. These last about 2 years before she can break them. Stitching is strong as well as the clip which is half metal half plastic for break away purposes. She has one in just about every color now. If they ever come out with a bling collar Iâm there !!!! Gotta love Carhartt!!!

Looks great and is comfortable on my dog. D ring holds up great and the collar stays adjusted and doesnât loosen up. My dog was able to chew some of the blue fabric off as a puppy unfortunately but the collar is very sturdy

Material can be tough if dog sheds a lot
I like the quality of the collar. But i bought the “sweater” color and my dog sheds alot so the fur gets stuck in the collar.

Durable non-slip collar
I bought this collar for my 83lb Bernese Mountain Dog. It snaps securely and hasn’t given me any trouble for the six months or so I have owned it. As is typical for Carhartt products it seems very durable.Unlike a lot of nylon collars it holds its size very well and doesn’t slip. My dogs don’t challenge leashes but I still dislike a collar that gradually gets bigger and bigger as it slips open. This collar doesn’t.
