Works really well!
Unfortunately, I don’t have another torque wrench to compare them to for accuracy, but this wrench is solidly built, the bits all fit snugly and securely into any bolts or screws you need to tighten, and the measurements are easy to read. And best of all, they don’t need to be set back to zero and shouldn’t need to be calibrated. The bits all fit securely into the bits holder, and the wrench is magnetized so that the bits click into place. They can sometimes get a bit stuck in the bolt if you tighten a bolt with a lot of force, but that’s a minor inconvenience for me. The only thing I wish it came with would be an extension or two, but you can buy any 1/4″ hex to hex extension to go with this.

So it won’t get knocked off calibration easily.DISLIKES:I need a magnifying glass to look at it as I’m tightening, in order to be accurate.This is partly due to my poor eyesight. I ALWAYS carry a magnifying glass.OVERALL:It’s accurate enough if I use a magnifying glass. This is a trade-off. I could get a bigger, heavier, more expensive, more fragile torque wrench. One that can be set to the desired torque. Those wrenches click when you get to the right torque. So I won’t need to look at it. But, I find this wrench better. I planned to get one of those more expensive ones for home, and use this one to travel with. But now that I’ve used this little one, I no longer plan to get a better one for home. This one is good for home AND the road.

Finally, I have a torque wrench that is easy to use, accurate, and small enough to get into tight places.I’ve needed this tool since I first started messing around with maintaining our bicycles — years ago. Recently became aware of it in a search on Amazon for a wrench that could fit into the places on my bike frame that a more traditional torque wrench couldn’t get to. I’m very happy with this tool. It is compact (small) and very well made. The accessory bits that come with it are good quality and it is very handy to have them all together in the holder they come in. This tool permits the intermediate torque values that are sometimes required by bike manufacturers that aren’t attainable with ‘clicker’ type torque wrenches. I’m very happy with this purchase and only wish I’d had this wrench years ago.

Small but capable torque wrench
Very compact. No I mean it is very compact. I lost it in my workspace for like two weeks. Why? Cause it is really small. BUT it works fine. Would recommend for an inexpensive but SMALL basic torque wrench. I needed it to do some minor adjustments on a carbon fiber bike. Also used it for torquing bolts on mtn bike disc rotors. Works great. Probably not sufficient for major in-the-shop repairs but it is fine for light usage at home or to take with on your bike. I would recommend it.

Tiny but great!
First – you probably don’t realize just how small this torque wrench is. If you really look at the photo and see it next to the 1/4″ hex drive bits, you might get an idea, but when I received it the first thing I noticed is that it is properly *tiny*. Look at the photo – it’s closer in size to the Ritchey torque key than the Shimano 1/4″ drive click-type ratcheting torque wrench.I’ve heard it said that this type of torque wrench, the beam style, is more accurate than the click-type. So, out of curiosity, I set the Shimano to 5Nm and put a 6mm bit in it, which is almost exactly the size of the 1/4″ hex drive bit in this wrench. Turning the two against each other until the Shimano’s torque mechanism clicks and noting the reading on the beam wrench before it lets go, I saw that the beam type was registering about 1 Nm lower than the Shimano. Then, I put the 6mm bit in the Ritchey torque key, and tested that. The Ritchey, which is pre-set to 5 Nm, released at almost exactly the 5 Nm indication on this little beam wrench.In my reading on torque wrenches, I’ve heard several things which seem to be true here:* beam type wrenches are the most accurate* pre-set wrenches are also quite accurate* adjustable click-type are convenient but not as accurate.Based on what I’ve seen in my quick, simple tests, I’d say this seems accurate, and with that, I would say that this little wrench is a fantastic deal for the money. For less than half the price of the click-type adjustable wrenches, you’ve got a wrench which is very accurate, and so small you could actually consider carrying it with you! I bought this for my race day toolbox, and I might just get another one of these for the shop.

Perfect for bikes
This beam torque wrench is so much easier to use than the click torque wrenches I’ve tried. You just start tightening until it’s at the desired torque. For the price, the wrench is surprisingly well made, solid, and precise.

(Object is much smaller than appeared on website!). I read most of the review but was still shocked when I received the item. It is about the size of your pen or even smaller. The torque scale is tiny, I had a hard time even after put on my reading glasses! You can only operate this torque wrench with 2 fingers, as there is no place to hold it. I guess it work for some application, definitely something you can put in back jersey pocket on a ride in case you ever need to adjust something. I personally wouldn’t use it in the shop.It may be accurate and portable, but just too tiny for me.

Awesome little travel set. I hardly ever torque to spec on my bike but after overtightening a bolt or two I decided it was time to pick one up. It does the job fantastically and I don’t have to mongo tighten every bolt now

I bought this because I intended to upgrade my brakes an my mountain bike and didn’t want to risk tensioning the bolts by guesswork.Being cheap, I expected the quality to be lacking. It isn’t at all. The various heads are precisely cut, no risk of rounding the bolts. I can’t comment on accuracy because I have nothing to compare it with but it is very easy to use and when I tensioned up to the rated torque on the various bolts in my project, it did feel about where experience would have had me take it if I’d done it without a torque wrench.

Solid little well made tool. Easy to use. Easy to read. Tested mine with 40 inch pounds of torque with a vice, or 4.5 nm and the tool measured 4.5 nm, as expected.
