I’ve run an online resale shop on a popular auction website for over a decade. I recently wanted to improve my listing’s photos specifically for smaller items which can be more difficult to photograph. I found this light box and thought it might be a good option. I like that it comes with multiple colored backdrops. They’re easy to insert and swap. I find myself using the white drop the most. The black is also useful for lighter colored objects. I do kind of wish that the backdrop covered the sides as well as the back though, but if you’re photographing a small enough object you can easily crop out the sides. The included light ring is plenty bright for most of what I’m doing. It does feature a hole in the top of the box to insert another light or lamp if that interests you – but I think I’ll stick to the included LED ring.

This majorly upgraded my product photography. The lights all work well, and love the different color backgrounds it comes with. Photographing shiny products and you donât see the light reflections or glare. The top hole is great for flat lays. Easily adjust the brightness with a dial on the cord. My only complaint is the Velcro – the seams are a bit flimsy and doesnât hold together super strong. I wish it had a better way of attaching the front panels that isnât a teeny tiny strip of Velcro. For the price it works well as higher quality light boxes start around double this price. If you are a pro photographer you may choose to spend the extra, but for a small business owner that photographs their own products it seems to work well enough.

I LOVE HOW EASY IT IS TO POP UP AND DOWN. IT LAYS FLAT FOR STORAGE PURPOSES SO ITS NOT BIG AND BULKY AND DOESNT REALLY GET IN THE WAY. IVE HAD THIS ITEM FOR 3 YEARS AND STILL HOLDS UP JUST AS WELL AS THE DAY I RECEIVED IT. DEF WORTH THE MONEY

This item is really good, i get some really great pictures when using it and the features are great for the price. Different colored backdrops and light controls, the 24 x 24 size is pretty big as well so i have no issue with larger items.

BEWARE!
I’ve never been able to use my box! The first time that I plugged it in to actually use it, all 3 panels lit up and began flashing really fast. I unplugged it and checked all the connections and plugged it back in. It lit up, flashed super fast but this time they stopped and never came back on. I literally had it my possession 31 days at this time. I had plugged it in to check it out and see how it all worked but had not had it on for any length of time, more than 5 minutes, until the day it blew up. Called Amazon, explained everything. That the items power supply, probably the dial, was not only defective but dangerous. I took photos showing that the photo box had just been taken out of the carton for the first time. Pleats in the fabric, cords still held with twist ties, and NO accessory had the clear cellophane removed!! Customer service told me I was too late. They could do nothing. I was LITERALLY 1 day too late. All he did is suggest I find a new power adapter. It made me upset, the whole situation, but I figured finding a power supply wouldn’t be that big of a deal. IT IS!I’ve spent quite a bit of time searching for the power adapter but because this item is SO new it’s honestly almost IMPOSSIBLE to find. It has to have 3 leads because it has 3 panels. I’ve not found 3 leads yet at all. It also is an 18V. Also not easy to find. I’m REALLY PISSED… and I actually feel cheated.So just BEWARE who you purchase this from because honestly the photo box is really awesome. I sell jewelry and the box gives even light on 2 sides and the top. I didn’t get the chance to take photos but it seemed really bright and it was adjustable. I WAS SO EXCITED!But if something as simple as the power supply goes out and your purchase was made somewhere that doesn’t really care if the item was even very obviously damaged before it was even removed from the box, and it happenes to be over 30 days, your pretty much screwed.I expected more from Amazon.
