I have an Australian Shepherd that needs regular brushing and this brush combo works great! I use the brush to get through his hair (he’s generally covered in leaves, dirt, etc.) Then I go through with the comb to make sure there are no tangles. I have used Chris Christiansen brushes before but they are very expensive, this is a perfect alternative.

Iâm a professional dog groomer of 30+ years and I like this brush, granted it isnât quite the same quality as a Chris Christensen brush because it isnât balanced the same. But as long as you follow your brushing with the metal comb that comes with it for at home use it does pretty good. Itâs head & shoulders above the old short pinned slickers for comfort and safety for your dog or cat.

I love how long the bristles are!!! I have a Maremma sheepdog puppy with hair similar to wool, and it actually works!!i also use it on my Irish wolfhound and my german shepherd.it gets down into the coat like It needs to, it’s a good size for large dogs. easy to use and fits well in my hand. easy to clean the hair out of as your brushing, leaves a nice compact chunk of hair. if you have double coated dogs this thing is amazing!!
