I was moderately skeptical, but this attachment was money VERY WELL spent! It works wonders on our Border Heeler which is in peak shedding season. It has the bonus of getting a decent amount of dander as well.Clips right up to my dyson big ball vacuum hose.Highly recommend.

Dog Vacuuming is GREAT!
The first time I used this product it turned into a frustrating fiasco!The second time I made changes including being in a smaller room. I left the long attachment pole in place and attached the hose with brush to it. Next I placed the canister as far away as possible, used the “trigger” lock, added peanut butter to a lick mat and…. SUCCESS!!!!I will continue to do small sessions of vaccuming as they get used to it.This is an incredible product and does a wonderful job on my Australian Shepherd and Chocolate Lab, can’t wait for another “vaccum” session :))Would definitely recommend to others!

Excellent pet shedding tool
Works great. Dyson noise can be scary for your pet. The concept of use brush then turn vacuuming is extremely inconvenient. Also the brush fills quickly and has to have sucked out after almost every brush stroke.If you buy this for a double coat shedding dog, you will need to be very patient as it will take a while to complete the job.

Whoever invented this is a genius!
I have a 7 month old male German shepherd. He sheds – a lot. I was using a Furminator on him every other day to remove hair. It worked, but I had to do it outside because all the hair it removed just went everywhere. This Kodahome grooming tool is very easy to attach to my Dyson Outsize vacuum cleaner. The comb removes hair just as well as the Furminator, and all I have to do next is push a button on top of the tool which drops the comb down so the vacuum can suck it into the canister. No hair flying around the room! No having to vacuum after I brush him! All done in one step. I’m so happy I found this! My dog is doing well with the vacuuming process overall. He doesn’t seem to mind being vacuumed. He’s just always been a little anstey when he gets brushed and he does like to try to bite the hose that attaches the tool to the vacuum. However, he’s still a puppy and a work in progress. I feel confident that with training and maturity he’ll settle down and accept the grooming process.

This is AMAZING!
I wasnât sure if this product was going to be worth the cost, but after using it for the first time I would highly recommend it! The attachment is easy to install and use. Thereâs clear marks for lock and unlock which lifts the comb in place or lowers it for storage. I didnât read the instructions before I used it as they were tiny! But after combing my dog several times I realized that when you push the button with a dog icon, the comb folds in and the hair is suctioned off into the vacuum and then pops back into place. Wow just wow! The comb is metal so it does a good job getting the undercoat. I have a golden retriever so she has lots of long, thick hair but I could see it working well for dogs with any coat types. If you can get them used to the sound of the vacuum cleaner by starting this activity as a puppy, even better. I would highly recommend this product for all dog owners!

Unless your dog just loves the vacuum, this will certainly cause more fear than good. It doesn’t work on all Dyson vacuums nor is the hose long enough to hide the main part of the vacuum around the corner.My dog is now in total fear of anything like it and even when offered treats, won’t come near the vacuum.
