Cat won’t stand on platforms?
I noticed my cat wasn’t choosing to stand on the platforms covered by the white padding. I removed the white pads and suddenly the cat discovered better purchase standing on those platforms. Problem solved. Additionally, I put those pads into the box enclosure and later discovered that the cat had arranged the pads to his liking as one might do with pillows. He likes to sit forward in the enclosure, comfortably resting against the cutout. This cat tree is well-designed, easy to put together, has extra parts for most pieces, and is very sturdy. Unlike some mostly carpeted cat trees, this model is less likely to look shabby over time with usual cat wear and tear.

My cats have finally accepted it
The cats like the height and the sisal scratch posts. They couldn’t care less about the soft fabric or the cubby hole. And they aren’t very enthusiastic about the hard horizontal surfaces. I like the design and how it looks in my decor. Sorry cats! It is also built very solidly and is easy to assemble

It’s ok. Not great. My cat decided he doesn’t like it.
We’ve had this tree for a week. Overall, I’m a bit disappointed. I chose this one because I wanted a nicer-looking tree for my sunroom, as opposed to the typical carpet-covered towers. From a distance, it does look nice, but up close the particleboard shelves are obviously cheap. The edges and corners were scuffed as soon as I took it out of the box. The brass plate with the company logo was also just slapped on, crooked and uncentered. Sloppy workmanship. I pried it off with a knife because it looked so ugly. I think the particleboard is going to get scratched up pretty quickly. It is not durable.It is also on the small side. The height is fine obviously, but the condo and the shelves are pretty small. My cat is only 11 pounds, and you can see that he spills over the sides. He got on the tower the first couple days we had it, and now he’s decided he doesn’t like it. He can’t stretch out like he likes, nor can he curl up comfortably because he spills over the sides. I think he’d like it better if the top had raised sides like a bowl.He does like the scratching posts. That’s the only time I see him touch the tree. I even sprinkled catnip on the beds, but that didn’t convince him.I also chose this one because I like the idea of the washable cushions, and they are easy to remove and replace. But they are very thin with very little padding.I’m deciding now if I want to go to the trouble of disassembling it to return it while I’m still within the return window, or just sell it on a local garage sale site.

the cats love it!! Good for large adult cats!
So I got this (earlier than expected–at the holidays!, so thank you Amazon!) and put it together last night. When the first level was done, one of my 3 cats came in and started scratching away at the sisal legs. She loved it! I made an error in assembly, which resulted in the “house” top being attached with only 4 screws and not the the additional wood dowels. I discovered it after I’d finished assembling the whole thing, but I was not about to take it apart to fix it, and it doesn’t appear that it will affect anything. I have wood dowels saved just in case, in the future I feel I do need them, but I don’t think I will. I do not like cat trees that have the fake fur instead of real carpet, and this one does have 3 fake fur legs. I know that probably in a year, those legs will need to be recovered, but I can easily do that with some thick sisal rope. The tree comes with thin, fake fur pads that velcro in place, so they can easily be removed for washing. I finished the tree, and all three cats were up on it, exploring and playing. My cats, for reference are 9-11 pounds each, and some cat trees are more appropriate for kittens. This not is great for my crew. I’m pleased with it, and I’ll report back in the future should that opinion change!

Me encanta, se ve muy bien, mis gatos no lo usan mucho porque están enormes, lo que más usan es la caja, pero se ve super elegante y lo mejor es que se limpia super fácil.
