Unfortunately, I was expecting this to be more like the Lâange brand, but less expensive and yes I have used that to be able to compare. The fan on this one is very noisy. It is bulky and awkward to hold. It doesnât hold the hair tight enough to keep it in while curling.

I was going to return it, since does not have dual voltage which l needed for travel. If traveling where dual voltage is not needed, it might still be a little heavy for some in luggage.All this aside, l decided to try the curler/straighter anyway for possible use at home. Pleasantly surprised! It did a good job straightening my thin should length wispy hair. Plus, it doesnât get ultra hot (3temp settings) and didnât feel like l was burning my hair. It gets the job done, as another reviewer mentioned, it is basic; old school style device.Keeping it, like the price point, too!

Very happy with this product. I have natural wavy thick hair that is shoulder length. The size is perfect and very easy to use. I was impressed with how fast I was able to straighten my hair. I’m not new to hair tools and I purchased this one wanting the plates to be smooth. They snag my hair no matter what I do or what angle.
