Good Pack, Almost Perfect Design
This is a great 28L pack for a weekend out in the woods (3 days, 2 nights). I like the clamshell opening of this bag, makes it easy to get to everything. The main compartment is large enough to hold a hammock, straps, change of socks and underwear, cook system, and video gear. I run a 2L bladder that fits well. The pockets on the back are a bit shallow, but hold my headlamp, pen light, water filtration, fire starting gear, boo boo kit, etc. The top pocket is good for snacks, bug spray, compass, etc. I keep a folding saw on the right, supported by the side pocket, and a single wall stainless 27oz Klean Kanteen on the left. I hang a 10×10 tarp off the bottom that doubles as a rain fly for the hammock. I used some bungees to keep a lightweight poncho attached to the top rear of the pack. The only thing I had to add was a decent trauma kit, which is attached low at the center of the pack. The shoulder straps are good, especially if you do not go beyond about 25-28lb of gear (I’m right at 17lb without water and food). The adjustable sternum strap is good, but sometimes doesn’t stay where I need them after taking the pack off. The waist belt is minimal, but does a good job of stabilizing the pack. Don’t think you’ll be hanging extra pouches off of it though. The zippers are good, though some of pulls can come off. A simple fix is to take some pliers and crush the zipper pulls closed. They do tend to grab the inside liner of the main compartment from time to time, but nothing major. It is almost prefect for me. I really wish the depth of the main compartment was 1″-1.5″ deeper. I think that would make the side pockets a little larger to hold a 40oz bottle. I would prefer two adjustable straps at the bottom as well, but the four loops there are workable.

Great bag, heavy duty worth the money
I love this bag. Itâs small enough to carry easily large enough to carry everything I need. It is strong well-made great quality canât say enough about this bag.

It’s great
I got a molle first aid kit strapped up on it. It makes accessing one outside pocket slightly more difficult but over all it’s a great bag. Ive thrown it around in my truck and on camping trips for a couple of weeks and durability is good. I like the organization slots that come in each compartment and even when they don’t fit the specific items you want them to you can just loosely place those items in a compartment. It’s comfortable enough to be a day bag for hiking and hunting. And it would make a great casual backpack for bicycle commutes or school and many other uses. Zippers are smooth and buckles are functional. Great price for a great bag it rivals some name brand backpacks I’ve owned at a significantly lesser cost

my daily back pack
its a good pack, its got lots of pockets in pockets and i liked that for organization, i ve been carrying it almost a year now and its holding up good, lots of hikes, and daily car to work truck, to car and home again, its lasting longer than the walmart bag i carried last so far

Sturdy, great layout. Nice size for a day pack.

Great price for a well built pack
Plenty of pockets nice size day pack. They could have made it with padded waist straps like the 35L for better comfort and with the same shoulder straps as the 35L, I like the way you can route the water bladder tube out through the top of the shoulder straps on the 35L much better.

Beautiful execution; Can it be better? Of course! Why settle?
The creators need to do a 2.0 version of this backack with the following modifications; 1. Add the frame that they added to the 80 liter bag,it would be perfect for it. that frame would give the rigitery this backpack requires to become a 5 star backpack. 2. Make the side pockets wide enough to fit a 64 ounce bottle on both sides. that would allow enough room to make those pockets a breeze to use, easier in and out of bottles without the compromise of the pockets to dig into the inside real estate. 3. Add the padding from the waist band of the 80 liter bag. 4.Expand it by an inch or so. 5. Add a cover from the rain.6. Optional add weight sustainers on the backpack on the straps. This bag design hits every organizational area well. The material is great. The zippers are amazing, they feel like butter. The straps are superb. The bag works well, but I feel like it wasn’t tested,or maybe the creators wanted to cut corners and It shows.I’ve bought both, the 80 liter bag, and this one. I’m still testing the 25 liter one.So far these have been my observations. Dont refrain from buying it, its a great product at an amazing price. I just believe that the company already has the technology. So,why not let it trickle down to the rest of the line up?

Great bag for the price
I use the backpack every day for carrying a laptop and other things for work. Recently took it hiking through the mountains of Idaho on a hunting trip and it performed perfectly. Straps and backing are comfortable and the sinch straps makes it great for a easy carry on for flying.
