Simply Amazing
First off, I’d like to mention that it’s rare for me to ever take the time to write a review on a product. This stuff is just too good that I feel like I need to say something about it.My favorite beard balm company is no more and I’d decided to get a head start on my beard before the cold seasons come around. I typically don’t like to take chances on new products that I can’t test before buying. I’m not a very big fan of “manly” smelling things. I prefer a sweet/vanilla scent. That’s my preference, be it unpopular or not. I searched for a vanilla scented beard balm and immediately came across Bossman Magic Scent. Although I couldn’t find a very thorough description on the scent in the product description or customer reviews, the reviews were postive. I looked no further because this caught my eye…JELLY?? Wtf is beard JELLY!? This sound ludicrous, absolutely bizarre, yet intriguing. So crazy that I just might need to give it a shot and I’m so glad that I did. I decided to go all out and buy the conditioner, jelly, and balm.My beard is about an inch long and started to get that dry, wirey feeling, looking out of control. After using the conditioner in the shower, I patted my beard lightly with a towel, squirted a bit of the jelly into my hand, massaged it into my beard, and combed it in with my beard comb. My beard already felt and looked a million times healthier. I followed up with a bit of balm. Using a boar hair brush and a beard comb, I fluffed and shaped my beard. I was seriously blown away with how these products transformed my beard. I’ve used beard shampoos, oils, balms, a waxes before. None of them have had this sort of effect on my beard.Now, onto the scent. I was pleasantly surprised. I tried really, really hard to try to describe the smell without looking at the ingredients. The closest I could get is “it smells like Stewart’s Orange Cream soda and shea butter – not really citrusy, warm, slight spice, a hint of patchouli (but not overwhelming), creamy vanilla.” The ingredients listed on the container: shea butter, cocoa seed butter, mango seed butter, sandlewood oil, bergamot oil, frankincense oil, patchouli oil, and vanillin natural.These products kept my beard looking, smelling, and feeling great all day long. Light and soft, not thick and slick like other products I’ve tried. I don’t have many friends who can grow a beard like I can, but for those friends who can, I’m absolutely recommending Bossman. I can’t recommend a single item. It’s all or nothing here. The conditioner, jelly, balm combo is the only way to go. Trust me, fellas. This stuff is seriously awesome.

Fresh & Manly
This is a really high quality beard balm. This is the first balm my wife likes the smell and does not feel oily. I am able to use it twice a day and it conditions my beard very well. I like the Magic Scent and how fresh and manly it smells. I’m able to easily get my beard comb through my beard and my beard looks a little bit more full now. I would recommend this to anyone. Like all beard balms it starts off a little oily but to my surprise through out the day it just works its way into my beard for a nice hold and conditioner. I wash my beard about twice a week now and like that this balm does not feel greasy at all the next day. I’m going to buy another tin for sure, I have already recommended it to my Dad. I cant believe this balm is not more popular. I took the time to review other Bead balms online and I decided to buy this one because if the quality ingredients and the sandalwood oil is amazing in this one. I am interested in trying out the “BOSSMAN Jelly Beard Oil” next. I have not bought it yet but the Balm says to use it first then use this balm.

Overall a good product, but some recent quality issues
My husband has been using this product for a few years now. He likes that it is unscented and smoothes his coarse mustache and beard. The only issue is that some of the balms have arrived in a more dried out state. Not sure if this is because it is older product being housed in a warehouse or if it is a manufacturing issue. This has happed twice now. Adding a bit of water doesnât really help. My husband has resorted to scooping out a small amount and then microwaving for a few seconds to increase the pliability. Heâs used other beard products from the same brand without issue. Hopefully, this is just a fluke. Itâs on the pricier side. I am giving the product 4 stars because itâs a good product overall. I am just hoping that the next balm we order is not dried out.

Decent but not for me
I’ve been a long-time user of Honest Amish beard products, but after trying the Bossman beard Jelly and loving it, I decided to give several other Bossman products a try; this being one of them. I purchased the Stagecoach version. The scent smells nothing like the Bossman beard jelly in the same scent. Thankfully, the beard balm scent dissipated fairly quickly and I was able to recover. I cannot speak to the other scents offered but the stagecoach scent used in this balm should be avoided. Getting past the scent… the balm itself is fairly good. It’s smooth and buttery and can quickly be applied. I’ve been using it with the beard jelly and my beard is super soft and hydrated. With that being said, I think that I’ll go back to my old balm. The Bossman balm comes in a 2oz tin whereas my old balm comes in a 4oz tin. The Bossman balm has little to no hold while the Honest Amish Heavy Duty does have a decent hold while hydrating my beard. All in all, Bossman balm works and is certainly a decent product once you get past the scent (if you order stagecoach) but I’m going stay with my old balm.
