ðSuper Impressedâ Amazing Quality!
This is the best dog bed I have EVER had for my pups. I have a 85pound beautiful blonde German Shepherd & a 18pound Maltese Chihuahua. They both love the bed & can even lay on it together. It took me 5minutes to get it opened & put together & the foam fluffed up so fast whenever I cut open the bags. The quality is amazing which makes me super satisfied. The zippers are good quality & they have 2 on there. I LOVE that you can take off the cover & wash it because dogs get dirty. ðThe size is huge, I was expecting it to be a little smaller but am so pleased it was larger. It fits my German Shepard so well & I am glad my little dog can cuddle with her on it also that way they donât get jealous of one another. lol.I was also impressed with how soft the cover was, I didnât realize the top part of the cover was a fuzzy material. Very nice. The overall appearance is just beautiful. I got the grey one & I am absolutely in love with this dog bed. Itâs thick & squishy.I love the raised edges so my dogs can have an area to lay their head on. I also love that the bottom has a slip resistant material so it can stay in place.*The best way to put it together:-Use scissors or rip the bags instead of using a knife because you donât want to cut the foam.-DO NOT CUT OPEN BOTH FOAM PIECES at the same time. You want to do it 1 at a time so itâs easier to put them in the cover before they expand.-Open the egg cart looking 1 first! At first I was confused on how this was going to fit & be big enough but it is. ð the egg cart looking foam goes face up inside of the cover.-Then you want to zip it up before adding the other one. Make sure you donât snag the zipper on the foam.-Now cut open the other foam piece. This part was easier to put in.-Zip up the top part & BAM, youâre done. It can take 3-5days to expand fully but to be honest mine looked fully expanded after 3hours. Itâs thick & plush & looks amazing!!!!I love that it has a handle to carry it.

Make sure you put the egg crate foam into the cover, crate side up
So assembly is (of course) the tough part. Instructions are included, but let me make it easier for you.The bed comes in three pieces – the color outside cover, which has 2 zippers, and two rolled memory foam pieces – one you will be able to easily identify has the egg crate, the other, covered in fabric like a pillowcase is the bolster. Do not open both memory foam rolls at the same time or before you are ready.Unzip just the lower zipper – this is where the egg crate foam will go and it is the size of bed. Lay it flat, fully opened. Then cut open just the clear plastic sack containing the egg crate – use scissors as you want to work fast as it will inflate fairly quickly, and you will have to be less careful than you would, working with a knife. Make sure the egg crate faces up toward the fuzzy side and the flat side is to the grippy bottom. Make sure you tuck both back corners in, then get the zipper closed. The directions say that it will take up to 3 days to expand fully.Next, open the top zipper – which will open a fairly narrow U shaped compartment – the arms and the back of the dog bed. Open the clear bag with the bolster in it, and work your way around, making sure that the first end of the bolster is all the way to the end of the pocket. Since the fabric covering the loose fill of the bolsters is like a pillow-case, the zipper will want to snag on it, so be careful zipping it up. Make sure the far end is as deeply into the pocket as the first end.The pictured test dog is a full size poodle and weighs about 55 pounds. Clear approval BALANCE offers this size of bed ( 42.0″L x 30.0″W x 6.5″ )for $69.99 which is a good price and the assembly isn’t that bad – it only takes a few mins.

Plush dog bed
The bed is not as thick as some dog beds, but it is excellent for it’s size and our (large) pup greatly appreciates being able to stretch out in it. It had kind of a stinky, plastic chemical smell when it first arrived (as polyester items often do) so we aired all the components in the sun a couple days before assembling and that seemed to do the trick. The assembly took more manpower than brainpower and two of us were able to get it together quickly. Overall a nice dog bed.

My very particular dog approves
After my dog had worn out her bed, it was time to find a new one. I had no idea it would be such a difficult task. I ordered one bed that looked fine to me, but for whatever reason, it was soundly rejected by my dog. So I gave that bed to a neighbor whose dog loves it. So I ordered another one and the same deal. She sniffed it, circled around on it a bit, then waked away and wouldn’t go near it again.Well, the third time was successful with this bed from Balance. I have no idea why she immediately accepted this bed when she rejected previous purchases, but thankfully we finally found a bed that she likes.Honestly, I can’t really see any big differences between the beds, but she certainly could tell the difference. With her superior senses, perhaps it’s the smell? Who knows. I’m just glad I found this brand and that my dog has a nice comfortable bed again.

Instant Love and first nap!
I have no idea how she knew but as soon as this came from the box our dog knew this was for her. She stayed close the entire we opened the packaging and put it together! It was very easy to asseble. The key is to move quickly because things start to swell up after they are released from their packaging. It is really just a matter of opening the pillows and zipping them in! Super simple and quick to assemble and instantly ready to be used. Our dog quickly claimed it as hers and made herself comfortable right away. I think I ordered a bed that is too large for my medium dog but my 9 year old loves it too and there is room for them both to cuddle on the floor together which is super adorable! Over all the quality is great! The pillows are soft and full as you let them expand. The fabric is super super soft! The zippers are strong! The way this is designed makes it super easy to break it down if you need to wash it! Two thumbs up from me and two paw up from my pup! With Christmas right around the corner your dog deserves to be spoiled with this one! Mine sure is living the posh life now!
