I really like this game. Itâs pretty quick to learn and they have a with the video tutorial if you arenât much of a rule reader. I also love that the game starts off easy and then gets more challenging as the rounds go. I think this is a perfect game for an adult game night. Especially if you have a group that enjoys betting. Since you have to bet how many hands you will win before you play each round. And best of all itâs small enough to travel and accommodates groups up to 8. Thatâs a bit of a hard find in the board game world! So this would be perfect for group trips or game nights.

this a great trik taking game with a pirate theme. If you have played hearts or euchre then you are familiar with this style of game. The game starts fast and hooks you. It takes 10 rounds. round one is just one card. Fun strategy will take about 45min to hour for each game. I played with adults and teenagers.

I have been playing this for years and finally decided to add it to my repertoire. Itâs fun, requires some thought and strategy but still remains FUN. There are several twists and turns and makes it unpredictable and exciting.I usually play with adults, however we have had a few kiddos 7+ join us and they seem to get it and play just fine.

Our family loves board/card games. Skull King didn’t disappoint. The game play is very similar to Wizard, but with added components! You can play your hand perfectly and still miss your bid due to the Kraken or White Whale!! Bid zero late in the game and rack up the points!

We have the previous version. It is such a fun game to play with friends and family, the Mermaids give the game a twist and the Kraken, one of our favorite cards, can help you win or lose your bid. So, be careful when to use it! It is also fun to play with the Pirates’ “powers”, they come in very handy! We play the powers as an ‘advanced’ game. Our nephews and nieces younger than 8 usually play with an adult, so they get used to the game and different cards, but they love this game as well!

Plus the pirate theme makes it super fun for everyone. I also love how you can customize with the different game modes. Well worth it. One of my favorite games of all time.
