Easy to learn and fun for the whole family!
A a recent family gathering, 3 generations sat down to play CHRONOLOGY and all enjoyed. Ages ranged from 10 years old to 83 years old. I love that there is really no skill involved, you can just guess. If you are a history buff, like my 83 year old father, and you’ve been around long enough to really see some stuff, you might have a bit of an edge, but even the best of us is forced to guess at the dates every now and then. The rules are simple, you get a card to start with. The card will list a historical event and the year it occurred. This is the starting point of your time line. With your next card, you need to decide if it happened before or after the date of your first card. From there you are building a time line, deciding where in your series of cards the events occurred, the first player to build a correct 10 card time line wins. It’s simple, doesn’t require keeping score, a timer or rolling dice, everything is in one compact box that is easy to take on the road to a friend’s house. I will say you need a lot of table space to play this, laying out your cards in a line, especially if you have 4 or more players, takes up a lot of real estate, so pick a big table! Overall I think CHRONOLOGY will become a welcomed addition to your family game nights. Game play is quick, so you can use this as an ice breaker or filler at a party. You can even decide to build a shorter time line of only 5 or 8 cards, depending on how much time you have. It is especially fun at a New Year’s Eve party, while waiting to usher in a new year, it’s fun to reflect on all that has already happened!

The trivia game for those who don’t like trivia games
I don’t like trivia games so I was skeptical about this game the first time that friends asked us to play it with them. What a surprise! Rather than trying to guess the name of the third person to play little orphan Annie on stage in St. Louis you are trying to guess whether an event happened before or after a specific date. Sounds strange, but it is really fun and it gets much more challenging as each game evolves.

What can I say. This is the third time we have ordered this game for ourselves or for gifts for others. Super-fun game and easy for teens on up. Highly recommend!

Not for anyone under 21! You must know history to like this game. Excellent conversation starter and fun to play.

Good group game
I really enjoy this game! It’s fun with friends, and it’s also a good way to pass time in social environments that may be new, uncertain, or have little momentum. It’s easy to play, easy to explain, and isn’t a long time commitment! My boyfriend and I had purchased 3 sets for 3 different locations – we’ve liked it that much!

I got the game as someone who likes history and geography thinking I’d beat my friends, but the questions on here are so relatable but still hard to know the exact year!Anyone can play it, and guess where their card will fit on the timeline without knowing an actual year, everyone I’ve played it with has loved it. 10/10
