Timed and/or remote operation
We were looking for an automatic feeder for the barn cats at our farm because we are only there on the weekends. This feeder is perfect. It is very easy to set up and offers a timer function as well as remote control operation via the phone app.Great value for the money and peace of mind that our cats are eating well.

Excellent!

Good vacation feeder
Overall this is a decent feeder but it could use some other features.Pros:-> It connects to WiFi via an app on your phone. This is nice if you just need to give your cats a little extra but don’t want to walk to the feeder or change the schedule. This was a nice function while I was getting the timing and the amounts correct.-> The portion divider slides left/right to control how much food goes into one bowl vs the other.-> The audio message is an interesting feature. Turns out it works like Pavilovs bell, but for cats.-> USB-C powered with battery backup (not included).-> Holds a good amount of food.-> Scheduling is nice and very flexible.Cons:-> Requires a phone app. There doesn’t seem to be a way to use this feeder without using the app. Once the schedule is set and working you don’t use the app often, however, all changes require the phone app.-> The app indicates that the front button can be set to dispense food portions, but I couldn’t get that to work.-> The divider between the two bowls isn’t very consistent on how much each bowl gets.-> Food doesn’t drop all the way into the bowl.-> Doesn’t appear to have a-> Requires batteries that are not provided.-> Not rechargeable.-> The app shows 100% battery when on corded power. Shows less % when on battery, but there was no alert sent to the phone when power switched to battery.Unknowns at this time:-> Not sure what happens when the battery power level gets critically low?

pros:- the feeder is easy to set up and easy to maintain. the bowls pop on to the main body with a plastic shell, and the stainless steel bowls are removable for easy cleaning. the lid is easy to use and for refilling the food storage- the bowls are a great sizs and have low edges to minimize whisker fatigue- the app is easy to set up and navigate, and it’s nice to have a log of how often/much they’re being fed as well as the automations and remote control in case I’m out/unable to attend to them in the moment- the dual feeder is great for 2 cat households where food intake doesn’t need to be closely monitoredcons:- the lid does not seal air tight and it doesn’t lock very well. it keeps my cats out because they’re spoiled, well fed, and have tons of enrichment, but I can’t see it holding up to a more food motivated or curious cat, especially when you factor in natural user/human error (not seating it juuuuust right, not engaging the lock fully, etc)- you can’t set up custom portion sizes so you have to use the predetermined 8g, which is a VERY small amount of food. this may be an adequate “portion” for smaller cats, but mine are 15-20lbs and I dislike needing to program it to dispense 14 portions per meal because…- it doesn’t dispense them evenly. there’s always a pile up on one side because the splitter does not split the food effectively, which deters my cats from eating because it’s a weird hill of food trailing down the feeder, rather than a normal bowl of food. I can go in and fix the issue manually, but then that removes the entire point of an automatic feederoverall, I don’t think this product is worth the price right now. there are some simple issues that can be fixed to make it worth that price tag, but as it stands right now, I don’t think it’s at all worth the price.

Cats like it
I’ve got three cats, one of which will eat everything available so I had two switch them to a feeding schedule instead of just leaving food out. She gets a single feeder so she doesn’t push the other two out of the way, but my other two can share with no problems. The lid locks so nobody can open the top for illicit feeding, and you can determine how often and how much to food to dispense. There’s a little gate that directs that will split the food into each bowl, and you can set it so one bowl gets more than the other if you want. It also holds quite a bit of food in the reservoir, so you don’t have to worry about constantly filling it. The only drawback for some people is that it requires an app to use and set it up, but you can also manually feed them from it outside of the normal schedule if you want.

2 bowls, 1 cat feeder
This automatic pet feeder has been a “cat changer” for my two cats. With the dominant one always pushing the other aside, feeding time used to be a hassle. Now, each cat can eat from their own bowl without interference, thanks to the feeder’s two-bowl design. Setting it up with the app was straightforward, although tech-savvy folks might enjoy it more. It’s not just functional but also notifies me through the app when it’s low on food or if there’s a problem with dispensing, which is super convenient. I’d highly recommend it to any pet owner with more than one furry friend at home.

Food spills out
The feeder worked fine in the beginning but as soon as my cats got big enough they would just bust the feeder open bc the container that holds the food is not a solid until, it has no bottom. so it can move and all the food can spill out and makes the biggest mess.

If you have two cats, you need one of these.
For anyone who has two cats, you know that know that there is an “Alpha Cat” and that cat gets to eat first. The other cat will just sit there and watch until Alpha Cat is done, and sometimes gets less than a fair share. While this feeder is not exactly perfect about divvying up the food evenly, it is close enough and with the two bowls allows Beta Cat to get a fair share of food. This does require an App to set it up, which I know is probably not for everyone, but what doesn’t, these days? It is nice that the App lets you know if it needs food or there is some other problem distributing food.

This is a very handy automatic cat feeder. Could it be two cats the same time and you can set up via an app to feed your cats automatically it’s got a pretty large capacity container feed up to 10 meals per day that is automatically measured by the cat feeder. It comes apart very easily to clean and also has dual power capabilities. One it can plug directly into the wall and a second it takes four AA batteries which were not included that will allow the feeder to work even in a power outage.Compared to other automatic feeders the price is very good. And my cats are also very happy as they do not have to wait for me to feed them

At the time of writing this review, this 6L automatic cat feeder costs $89.99. There is currently a coupon for 20% off for a total discounted price of $71.99.Our cat needs to be put on a diet, and our old feeder only allows for large portions, 3 times a day. We need much finer control of what he eats and how much of it. This not only has all of that, but it also has a back up battery power source which means I don’t have to worry about my cat going hungry when I go out of town for the weekend.Set up is really easy, it only took around 10 minutes. I could not get the app (Pet Zero – 2.9/5.0 Stars – 540 review – 100k downloads) to work. It took a while to get my account to set up, but I can not get the app to keep me logged in. I don’t really care much about this, but I am taking a star away until they fix the app, as functions are not working properly meaning that I would be paying for something I am not receiving.Other than that, I have no complaints. It’s easy to use, easy to set up, easy to clean. The price range is slightly less than similar ones on the market, it works good (besides the app) and it looks nice. It’s easy to see remaining food levels, the cat can’t get into the food on his own and it’s quiet enough that it doesn’t bother me when it goes off. Overall, 4/5 stars.

So me and my partner are pretty busy almost all the time with workstuff but we have cats that are very demanding of attention and need to be kept under a schedule, so we got this in hopes to keep them on a strict timed feeding routine, first off it came very well packaged, nothing was damaged and there were no issues with assembly, it has a simple twist lock design with the container, its very simplistic and In my experience pretty beginner friendly. The complete setup only took around 15 min, we were able to connect the pet zero app without too much hassle, it wouldn’t work on my phone for some reason but it did with my partners, Mine is a Pixel and there’s is a Samsung, But after setting the schedule we can set the portions and times and so far its been working great, the oldest does try to break into it but the fastenings make sure he can’t get into the food, very happy with this feeder.

The Canister is just a plastic cylinder that twist-locks to the hopper with plastic tabs. it feels flimsy until it is locked in place, and I worry the locking tabs will break over time, rendering the product useless. This feeder also requires an app install, although the app I already have detected the feeder and can control it. The dishes fit nicely, and I like the stainless inserts, but the whole unit sits on the floor and makes the dishes very low to the floor. I elevated the feeder and dishes, and the cats now eat more regularly from it.

I already have a previous automatic cat feeder, and this one seems to work just as well – at a lesser cost. The app that it requires is easy to set up, and works as intended, able to set schedules as well as a custom message to call/greet your cats as they feed. You are also able to adjust the amount of food that is dispensed, which is a great thing to see if you want to be able to control the food portions and sizes that your cats consume. This model in particular comes with two bowls, which is great for those who have two cats such as myself. It is wide enough, and dispenses onto both bowls evenly, allowing both of the cats to eat at the same time without having to fight for the food from a single bowl.Overall, I can easily recommend this automatic cat feeder for those who have been feeding their cats lots of dry food, and are interested in getting something that will automate the process to ensure that your cats aren’t over feeding.
