True, they don’t last long – but the little tealight candles rarely do anyway. I only keep them on in the evenings while I’m home, and turn them off before I go to bed. This way they last longer (so far, 4-5 nights with no problems).

ADDENDUM: These start out bright white, which I didn’t so much care for. I forgot to turn them all off before bedtime last night, so they have been on for 24 hours now. And now I like them! They have mellowed to a warmer white — a lovely, natural candle-flame color. The flickering is about the same as if there was a continuous flow of air through the room, e.g. as if heat or A/C were on, or a window open somewhere.I like them much better now than I did at first light. And maybe the fact that they start out so bright means they will last longer..? 🙂 :-DNOTE: review is for JUNPEI 24 tealights, warm white, flickering. This brand is a brighter white than I prefer. The flicker rate & flicker brightness varies a bit, some have a more subtle flicker, others are more detectable but could slow it down a little. But over all, they’re fine. Inside the box, they are held in by the “flame” piece — these flame pieces are more rubbery than plastic, and it’s a little hard to pull them out. At first I was afraid the flame piece would pull out or break by tugging it, but so far so good. The brand I bought last time (AGPTEK here on Amazon) was a ‘warmer’ white, and in my opinion had a more realistic flicker. These are fine, but I decided to buy replacement batteries for the AGPTEK instead of buying more of these. If anything changes, I’ll write an addendum.

Saw the same in Las Vegas
Saw these in a display outside a hair salon within a Las Vegas casino. My wife asked about them and the salon lady offered a printout from Amazon for the same. After returning home, purchased the same at Amazon. GREAT PRICE and they work well, altogether really a great look!

Hard (impossible) to turn on by hand!
The on/off switch you can not operate by hand. It’s extremely difficult to turn on or off. We use a butter knife to get some leverage to get the switch to move. There is no timer or remote control. The brightness is great for what they are – tea lights. The bottom part that holds the battery does come off with a little prying action, and separates from the top part which holds the LED: Remove the battery cover, then the battery. Then use a flat blade to pry the bottom away from the top. The top does have a rubber flame shape cover that hides the LED. There is no resistor on the LED, but with CR2032 batteries I have read you do not need a resistor. The LED is a flicker/flame type LED.You could modify the switch to make it easier to turn on/off, but I don’t think it’s worth it and may not be reliable if you do. You would need to use an xacto knife and trim down the knobs that the switch is held in to.Overall for the price they are ok. But that switch is hard to get over. Kids won’t be able to turn these on or off, neither can adults without some leverage!

Product came quickly and had a nice realistic flicker to the light but I needed soft white tea light lights and these have a yellow light. In their picture it was a white light. Disappointed also that the day they arrived was the only day I could return them which was an inconvenience.
