Great quality Spyder polartec fleece balaclava
This ploartec fleece balaclava by Spyder is excellent quality and is very soft yet thick and confortable. It is very lightweight and has a built-in face mask. There are elastic cinch cords on each front side for a custom fit. There is plenty of length to the neck area to completely cover that area and provide great warmth out in the cold, especially when the wind is blowing a lot. I live in Colorado and we just had our first snow here at the start of November so I will definetly be using this awesome head gear when outside shoveling the snow. I have several other Spyder products who design and manufacture snowsports gear as well as hats and other clothing such as this balaclava, which are all premier quality so they will function great and last a long time. This balaclava is a bit large so if you have a small head it might be too big, but should fit a medium or large sized head fine especially with the cinch cords to secure it. Based upon the quality and features of this fleece balaclava I highly recommend it to others to keep your head & neck warm when outside in freezing temps.

good fit and feel for a warm face and neck
Does what it should and feels good doing it. The fabric feels smooth to the skin and is heavy enough to not weigh you down but thick enough to keep out the cold. Fits easily with not too snug a fit so it doesn’t give a sense of being smothered. Color matches well with description and stitching appears to be well done and no internal bumps or knots to deal with either. Will update if any quality issue after a full first season. Highly recommend to keep your face as warm and pretty as it was when you left the house.

Great structure
This balaclava has a great structured fit so that it’s not compressed down onto the skull. I like the adjustable elastic pulls near the cheeks. Easy to find even while wearing gloves.Another perk in of a slightly more rigid balaclava is that it provides a little bit of protection from the sun. It’s not going to be as effective as wearing a hat, but it’s always nice to have option.Very happy with this. Super functional. Would recommend.

Great for outdoor activities
Soft, plush fleece material. Fits with some space to spare. For reference I wear a 7 3/8 fitted cap from New Era. I can see it fitting a size 8 with no problems. Draw strings on the sides if you want a more snug fit on the hood itself. The part that covers your mouth and nose is not adjustable. You can either have it up or tuck it under your chin. When itâs up it kind of fits a little loosely in front of your face. I like that itâs loose and not pressing down on my nose. But the option to adjust it would be nice. Overall a good option to keep warm when playing sports outdoors in the cold.
