Works great on light to medium scratches
This product worked exactly as advertised. My kids had left some very nasty scratches all around my car from scooters and bikes. I had very low expectations that this product would be able to help, not because of the product itself, but because of how deep many of the scratches were. But I tried it anyway.I spent about an hour carefully going over the whole car. I did two to three passes once I got the hang of how much pressure and speed to use on the drill. To my surprise most of the scratches became much less visible, the deeper ones too. Iâd say it made the deep scratches 50% less visible and the lighter scratches about 80-90% less visible.Iâd definitely recommend this product and will use it again for light to medium scratches.

I bought this because I accidentally scratched the car while practicing driving next to a small tree which scraped the surface and it disappeared, and you can hardly tell where it originally was! It will not get rid of deep scratches. However, the surface scratches or light scratches, It will buff out.

This product is worth its weight in gold.My drive through car wash went to town with marks and scrapes on my Land Cruiser. I used Maguiarâs scratch removal cream as a teenager, but after 20 years later, this stuff is still the best!The entire scratch kit was worth its weight in gold. The small buffing applicator went on to my drill in 1 second, the cream was easy to apply onto the buffing applicator, and the orange microfiber towel was a perfect touch to completing the kit since my most of my rags were beat up from doing shop work.I was able to buff and remove ALL of the marks from the car wash that they left on my brand new hood.I would highly recommend this product to anyone that has light marks on their car paint from driving or parking lots.It obviously wonât remove scratches that are deep into the paint and may need actual repair, but this is a great first line of treatment solution for anyoneâs automotive!!

It’s Not A Silver Bullet
I’m not an expert detailer by any stretch of imagination just to give you some context. in my case, while it removed most of the scratches (light clear coat scratches) on the black Tesla Model Y, it did introduce swirl marks that’s visible at a certain angle…and for a perfectionist like me, that’s not acceptable. I actually needed Meguiar’s two other products: Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Polish; the former will remove the swirl marks but creates a very subtle haze that’s also apparent when light hits affected area by a certain angle..but once the latter is applied, it’s all good…again even with these 3 products don’t expect miracles…maybe the more effective results are reserved for Meguiar’s professional line of products… Also don’t bother with that drill attachment because IMO it just makes swirl marks worse…just use a regular foam applicator then buff out with a clean microfiber towel

Worked better than expected
I scraped the crud out of the side of my car on a plastic trash bin. It looked like someone keyed it. I was looking to buy an electric polisher to try buffing it out but this kit was on sale at Amazon so I thought Iâd try the cheap route first. As you can hopefully see by the photos it worked remarkably well. There are still fine scratches in the clear coat because they were pretty deep to begin with, but after about an hour of applying and reapplying the polish plus some elbow grease the results are impressive. No one would notice them unless the light hit the car just right and you were looking for flaws. If I spent another hour I believe the scratches would mostly be gone. Such a relief! And thereâs enough polish left for the next mishap.Re swirl marks some people experience, this will not work well unless your clear coat is in good shape/highly shiny to begin with. And of course wash the area well before applying otherwise the dirt will cause abrasions.

If your fingers can feel the scratch. It won’t work 99% of the time. Maybe if your car is white it might hide the scratches. The drill attachment is really handy. It will work with any kind of drill.

We have a silvery beige car so we cannot see any swirls. After we were done we went through the carwash for a deluxe wax and the car looks great.
