Perfect for running, fits Big phone on front bag and it’s not 6L, it’s 2L
I was having second thoughts on ordering this since they don’t have that many ratings but it was a good decision to do so. It came packed in a transparent Nathan bag and it’s completely new, and on perfect state; It’s like getting it from the store. I was looking for a running bag that wouldn’t be stiff, it would be comfortable, the backpack straps wouldn’t be made of that thin mesh and that it had a front pocket where I could put my phone (I have a Samsung s23 Ultra) since I don’t want to be reaching back to any back pockets… This checked all my boxes. Initially it didn’t fit perfectly on my chest but the front horizontal straps you use to get it tighter are adjustable and I could extend them to fit perfectly. Also those horizontal straps can be move up or down to better fit your needs. The material is amazing, breathable and the backpack is really comfortable; It locks really good so you don’t feel it while running. it also has two big back pockets to use. Finally, the water bag is not 6 liters as described here, it’s really 2 Liters. Which for me was perfect.I’ve ran 20 km so far with it.. I’ll update in a few weeks or maybe a month if anything unexpected happens with it.. but so far, it’s amazing.

High quality, ultralight and comfortable
I got this vest to go with my Nathan belt and much like the belt, the vest is high quality and ultra lightweight. Being my first experiences with Nathan products – Iâve seen them many times beforehand – I came away impressed with the design, fit and finish and overall quality of the materials. The vest comes with a 1.5L hydration bladder and tube thatâs pre-hung but removable and the tube is already ran down the strap and clipped into its holder on the upper chest strap. Everything came pre-assembled and ready to go: just adjust the straps and add water. The vest is so light you barely even know itâs there without the bladder filled. I canât get over how light the vest is, itâs great. The zippers are all smooth with nice pulls and thereâs a divider between the bladder giving you a small space in the main compartment for a sitting pad or whatever else you can fit. They didnât stop there though with a useful secondary zippered compartment below the main and thereâs a shock cord lashing area on the exterior which is ideal for a rain poncho or windbreaker. Thereâs also a small elastic pocket below the water bottle holder which is sized for a small flashlight or similar and would make a good area to clip a running light to. The front zippered pouch is supposed to hold a phone but for some odd reason they made the zipper too small and no modern smartphone will fit. Thereâs room for a longer zipper, they just decided not to use the space while marketing it as a phone holder, which seems like a big oversight. The vest is fully adjustable with two rows of webbing on each side of the torso along with two straps over the chest and they all have elastic strap keepers which is awesome. The shoulder straps are padded while remaining breathable and sufficient to accommodate the 6L capacity and accompanying weight. Iâm not the biggest fan of the color selections, preferring darker colors but those do retain more heat. Still, Iâd like to see more variety in this area and the front zippered pouch doesnât fit phones like the marketing claims. Nonetheless, itâs a high quality and very light vest/pack and outside of mostly minor complaints, I think itâs a pretty awesome piece of kit and it certainly exceeds my need of a lightweight hydration pack.

Eventually figured things out and now I love it!
Saw this particular model at the Nathan booth of a Half Marathon- MUCH better price through Amazon. I almost returned it though because it leaked the first two times I used it and was pretty much unable to get any water out of it! The draw was almost impossible.Took the bladder out of the pack, filled it up and figured out that the hose wasnât quite screwed in all the way. So leak is fixed.Turns out the draw is a little hard to figure out if you are old and canât see fine details ð. Up and down on the clear plastic to lock and unlock AND there is a correct orientation for the blue tip – horizontal in the mouth. (Vertical and almost nothing draws). Problems solved and now itâs perfect! Very happy.
