Best Garmin Yet
This is my 4th Garmin golf watch and itâs the best of them all. Iâve only had it 2 days and played 1 round of golf, Iâm in love! The accuracy is amazing, the course I played had gps on the cart and the Garmin was spot on, matching the cart gps almost exact on every hole. Iâve only dipped my toe in the water on the other functionally it offers. It really is a smart watch as well. There are literally hundreds of watch faces that can be downloaded from the connect iq app that show just about anything you want to see. I love being able to glance at the watch and see my heart rate, weather, battery %, steps and of course the date and time and more! I couldnât be happier, itâs well worth the extra $. And btw, the touchscreen to add score and access the other functions is a breeze. ð

Comfortable and Accurate
The Garmin Approach S62 is comfortable to wear, easy to use, and accurate on the golf course. I’ve used the watch to play x 2 and what I like about it are: It allows for easy scoring on the golf course, accurately displays the distance to the green, and has a backlight to allow viewing in the dark. Also, Garmin has made the watch so you can change watch faces and watch bands making it customized for individual tastes. The watch can be paired with your smart phone so you never miss important messages. Also, it counts your steps, has a great battery life, and can be worn daily as you main device. Great product!

Don’t hit the course without it.
There is a bit of a learning curve while getting this awesome watch set up. Considering how powerful the S62 is that shouldn’t be a surprise. Once I got the local courses installed and actually hit the links things went great. It didn’t take very long to locate my course and identify the holes and distances. The display while playing is stellar. I always know the distances from my lie to the front, center, and back of the green. This is great for shot selection.This is not only a superb golf appliance, it’s also a great sports watch. There are lots of available faces available, so finding the perfect one just takes a bit of browsing. It also synced up with my phone, so I’m getting messages as I go. Perhaps the best feature of all is the long battery life. I’ve used several quality digital watches, but this S62 is vastly better. My last watch needed recharging every day, so I ended up swapping between two different watches, just to make sure I had one that was charged. With the S62 I find that I only need to charge the watch about once per week. I appreciate this a great deal. The watch is also capable of club selection suggestions via the Caddy feature. It requires several rounds to build up the necessary database. I am looking forward to reaching that point soon. If only the weather will cooperate. Yes, the watch is highly water resistant too.

Great Watch – One Flaw
I have had this watch for over 18 months now and played 70 odd rounds with it. There are many, many positives – the battery life is great (2 rounds in 2 days no problem) and the app offers all the post-round information I could want. The accuracy (as verified by a Bushnell range finder) is almost always spot on, even though sometimes it can miss a short shot (but this is rare). I did buy 3 CT10 club sensors but was not that impressed and the one on my putter did not produce accurate results. Without the sensor, the watch will not track putts and you have to enter these in manually after every hole. The caddie function is useful and, again, pretty accurate with its club recommendations. The only negative (one star deduction) is the charging cable – after 16 months it stopped functioning and had to be replaced. This is a problem reported by many reviewers so mine is not an isolated experience. For the money charged, I do not think it is reasonable that the cable should need replacing so quickly, especially given the exorbitant price charged by Garmin for a replacement cable. FYI – I bought a non-Garmin replacement cable and that is working fine. This issue aside, however, I am so glad that I bought this watch because it really has helped me to improve my game and has become an essential – and reliable – tool for me.

Great Golf Watch
Great, comfortable golf watch. Seems pretty accurate. Takes a few minutes for it to locate satellite and load course but it’s great after that. Beautiful screen. Works well with the app. Battery lasts well.

Great way to analyze your game!
Iâm a 13 handicap and Iâve had this watch for a while now. Iâm 25 rounds in with the watch and I also have a nice watch tan to show for it. I honestly donât know how accurate the distances are on this thing (probably pretty accurate), but it was very humbling to see my driver distances after every round. I love how it tracks every shot and saves it along with your score card for every course you play so that you can refer back to it at any time. I was never really big on data, more of a feel player, but this watch helped me understand and analyze my game from a different perspective. Garmin claims to have over 41,000 courses preloaded on this thing and I must say that I havenât had any hiccups with any of the courses Iâve played so far, including a few courses in a different country. This is my first âsmart watchâ and Iâm not a super smart watch user but it tracks the basics I need like heart rate and sleep. The interface on this watch is pretty simple but some of the options like workouts, alarm clock, etc. are a bit cumbersome to get to via the âPlay Golfâ screen. If you need phone controls/notification integration, this watch isnât the watch for you, I didnât really need those features, so it didnât affect my experience much. One thing I do LOVE about the watch though is its battery life! This thing goes daysss before it needs a charge. All in all the watch makes it easy to track and analyze your golf games when you play and easy to tell the time while reminding you of your last round when youâre not.

I’ve only played 6 rounds with the watch so far. GPS works well as distances are accurate. Easy to use, and read, screen. Lots of features to enhance your game. Also, the watch has health features to track the items I want : Heartbeat, Steps, Sleep, Body Battery, Intensity Minutes

Once i got it setup and used it for a round or two it has become so easy to use and helpful. Knowing distance to the hole and traps is great, but also direction to hole if its not visible is great. Still loads of features to use but it is just great. Oh yes it has a visible graphic of the hole.
