A Busy Pet Owner’s Dream
First off, the capacity of pet food that this feeder can hold is perfect, meaning you won’t be refilling it every day or two. It even has custom settings to determine the amount of food given in a serving and can give up to four servings a day (which is ideal for puppies or a put on a feeding schedule for health reasons)Another unique feature is its ability to prevent spills by using infrared sensors to detect how much food is in the bowl so it can gauge how much more to dispense. Along with being able to adjust the portion sizes, this feeder allows you to schedule feedings, perfect for managing your furry friend’s weight as well as being perfect for a busy family. high hopes, but the motor wouldn’t turn
This feeder is a similar model to many others on the market, as far as the design & control panel. The one I received wouldn’t turn the wheel in the bottom to deliver the food portions. I tried it without food in it as well and it just wouldn’t turn, made a weak whirring noise. I tried the available trouble shooting, then returned it. Maybe I just got a bad one? Ordered a similar one afterwards that I haven’t had issues with.

Easy to use
This pet feeder is simple to set up and no-fail assurance for me that my pets will get fed while Iâm away. I keep it plugged in but it can run on D batteries as well. I keep the D batteries in as backup in case the power goes out. That saves my settings and ensures that it will keep running. There is the option of 4 feeding times that can be toggled on and off as needed. I am also able to specify how much food is dispensed at once. I was able to record my voice calling the cats for food and they know exactly the sound now and come running, haha. This feeder is what I call âboopâ proof, as I have one cat that likes to aggressively head butt feeders to try to get extra food. This one has so far foiled his attempts. I like that the bowl on this feeder is securely attached as well because he was able to pull the bowl off my old feeder. Overall, this is a good, basic feeder. No wifi but that is one less thing to fail. It is simple, reliable and robust. I like the removable food bin, it makes refills easier.
