Good but has the usual flaw…
It’s as good as any fish food auto feeder. Works just fine. However, has the same flaw that all of them have. I have a betta & need to use pellets. That makes the food amount adjuster thing either drops way too much food or way too little food. So after drilling 2-3 small holes in the food adjuster door thing…now it drops the right amount of food more consistently. just keep the food adjuster closed always.

I had an emergency and had to go out of town for a week. When I arrived back home, I found two of my 10 fish floating on the top of the tank. I was devastated. I contributed it to no food while I was away. In the rush of the emergency, I did not have time to arrange for someone to come over and feed them while I was away. Upon explaining this to my friend, she told me about the Petbank Automatic Fish Feeder. It has been a saver in so many ways. New Look, Same Design Flaws
I have a 55gallon tank, and I’ve been buying these feeders for years now when I travel (1 week trips dependent on feeder operating properly). This model is upgraded where you don’t have to manually enter and program a timer, that’s fantastic, loved that feature – these things are super easy to use. HOWEVER – I have had nothing but problems with these every time I purchase a new one (they’re cheap, I throw them out in frustration after using). The issue has always been the amount of food that drops, it’s really all or nothing with these so you ABSOLUTELY need to test them into a bowl first to gauge how much food you’ll drop. The big problem is though that when you leave these unattended for more than a day or two, they typically start to fill with moisture causing your fish food to mold incredibly quickly, but that also gums up where the food is supposed to fall, rendering them useless and your fish hungry.I thought the new model would address this, it did not. I will not buy in the future.

This feeder is okay, it does what it says, I wish however, that it had a cover that would help to keep the food from clumping together. Other similar products include this feature, a door that opens just before dropping the food, then loses shortly afterword. But, because the door is not there, the food eventually gets damp and can stick together, using food other than flakes may eliminate the issue.

Perfect for vacation and daily use
This works great. I’ve had it running for a month now. It holds a big amount of food. Easily attached it the tank with the adhesive tape. Only issue I have is it’s not suitable for betta pellets. I have it on the smallest setting but it dispenses a weeks worth for my little guy. I put some tape over the opening to better control the amount and have managed to lowered the amount to about 10 pellets give or take. Definitely a big help though.
