This kit comes with a hose, adaptor, and brush. The hose and adaptor actually work with several attachments I have for my dyson, so I think it will be useful to have additional parts to mix and match with my vacuum.The “buttons” are not as well made or easy to use as on the actual dyson parts, but overall they work fine. My two biggest issues are with the weak connection between the adaptor and brush, and the orientation of the brush. My dog does not like to turn his back on the vacuum, but the brush is curved the wrong way for that. The hose is only just long enough for my to brush him while he’s looking at – instead of away from – the vacuum. It would also be more convenient if the brush was always “out” and needed depressed to clean instead of the other way around, particularly since most dyson require a trigger press now, so this set requires both hands.To use it, you basically brush your dog, and when the brush is “full,” you stop, release the brush, and suck up all the hair with the vacuum through a hole in the center of the brush. My big, hairy lab enjoyed the brushing, and, for once, there wasn’t a mess of hair covering everything nearby when I was finished grooming him. So, it did work well enough, and I will be using it regularly, but it could be better.

Unfortunately with the Dyson you need to hold lever in for it to work, so between holding Dyson on, holding lever down while brushing and holding the dog itâs pretty difficult. You do have to hold button down on brush for Brissles to come out and then let go for vacuum to suck in the hair. So hand cramps up also.

Overall, a good grooming kit
This kit feels well-made and the plastics do not feel cheap. There were a couple sharp spots on the adapter along outside that could hurt if it were to rub across your skin. The brush itself works well, but I really wish it worked in the opposite way. You have to push the back of the brush into itself in order for the brush bristles to pop out. This means you have to hold this down while brushing your animal which is kind of clunky. I really wish the brushes were out all the time and then you pressed or pulled to retract the bristles so you didnât have to hold something down while you brush your animal. Decent kit overall though and works well.

I love this thing!! If you have a handheld dyson, perhaps youâre like me and realized itâs not as easy to use to clean in certain areas with a stick attachment at the end of the handheld machine. Adding this flex hose between the two is awesome- i find itâs way easier to get in the corners of my stairs and nooks of the car with this.
